I've been emailing with Simon Brown, he's revisiting the SDRplay set up in SDR-Radio, and this should be fixed, also allowing access to the LNA gain setting...

You are better off running a wire for HF than a mini whip they are highly overrated and a simple wire will give much better cleaner results, I'm running a 25ft temp wire, and in the radio shack a 160m ladder line fed dipole, or a 75ft end fed wire.... This plugin also drives SoDiRa if you want just broadcast am fm cquam decoding, I only have the demo version right now, so have to reload the extio ever time it starts, but runs pretty good...
