Is the RSP1 significantly worse in the AM band compared to RSP2
I have been trying to receive signals in the 100kHz to 2MHz range on my RSP1 without much success. I have since had the opportunity to try out an RSP2 and have found that with the same antenna, same SDR Uno settings I can receive loads of signals. I'm using Port A on the RSP2 which isn't even rated ...

Re: SoapySDDRPlay not working
Have you also installed the latest 2.09 mirics driver from this site? This will also not work yet with CubicSDR as the SoapySDR API has moved to V0.6, CubicSDR is built against V0.5 so we will have to wait until the next build of Cubic supporting the latest V0.6 SoapySDR API. There should be some Cu...

Re: Any tips for buildingunder ARM64?
I believe you will be reliant on Mirics releasing a 64 bit library for your processor with the correct endian etc. Not sure if sdrplay can do this? I wanted to build for an Odroid C2 but chose a Raspberry Pi3 because of this likely driver problem. Trouble with the Pi3 is the 100Mbps Ethernet port, t...

Re: Help with raspberry pi setup please.
I have now tried this and it's very unreliable for me. 50% of the time it gives a Failed to start SDRplay RSP device. Other times it writes to disk OK. I'm having similar problem with rx_power where it often fails to talk to the SDRPlay via SoapySDR, there's something not 100% with the SDRPlay on th...

Experience using rx_power
Has anyone had any experience of using rx_power with sdrplay? http://www.rtl-sdr.com/rx_tools-rtl-sdr-command-line-tools-rtl_power-rtl_fm-rtl_sdr-now-compatible-with-almost-any-sdr/ I have it running but I can't get any sensible output. I think it may may be related to the gain settings but it's rea...

Re: Help with raspberry pi setup please.
The pi3 set is a little limited but here's one option that I've been pursuing, mainly on the Mac but will work on Linux and on Windows. Install SoapySDR, SoapyRemote and SoapySDRPlay on the pi3. Make sure you have a new fresh install of Raspian otherwise there seems to be some issues with the USB an...

Re: SDRplay Ghost signals
Not wishing to hijack this thread but I'm also seeing strong broadcast FM signals up at around 340MHz on my new sdrplay. For instance classic FM is at 341.5Mhz, is this normal? I'm using CubicSDR on a Mac.
Thanks Richard

Re: SDRplay and Mac OS, installation questions
Someone created a patch file for MacPorts https://trac.macports.org/ticket/48451 However, this no longer works as the version numbers have moved on plus the repository for the sdrplay software no longer seems to be valid http://sdrplay.com/software/ Can you provide the latest version numbers and rep...

Thanks for the reply, that's good news, any ideas on a timescale, is it weeks or months away?
