Hello Steve,
This is wonderful news. We believe that a lot of people would be very keen on this. Would you like us to help in testing of this?

Re: linux mint18
Hello Ekim, I have no idea why you can't open a ticket. Please send an email to support@sdrplay.com listing your issues and we will open a support ticket for you once we have your email address. All RSPs are fully production tested so it would be unusual for yours to be non-functional. Sincerely SDR...

Re: Running 2 RSP1A's on one PC
Each RSP1A has a unique serial number. If you have two devices plugged into the same PC< when you start SDRuno, a device selection panel will appear and you will be able to select either device by its serial number. You can run both devices simultaneously by running two separate instances of SDRuno....

Re: Front end protection during TX?
Hello SDRFreq, Powering down the device or disconnecting it from the PC will NOT provide additional protection in the scenario where excessive RF power is applied. All RSPs contain protection diodes. The first failure mechanism when excess RF power is applied is the destruction of the ESD protection...

Re: SDR PLay RSP2 Characteristics
It is possible to record the entire I/Q spectrum directly to the HDD of a PC using SDRuno. It is also possible to completely turn off the tuner AGC and adjust the RF and IF gain manually. The maximum sample rate is 10 MHz and the minimum sample rate without decimation is 2 MHz. Lower sample rates ca...

Re: Resampling
Hello n2ic, Higher levels of decimation were originally introduced to allow the framing of specific bands in SDRuno. This is achieved by setting specific combinations of sample rate and decimation and is currently only achievable in Zero IF mode, because it is only in ZIF mode that it is possible to...

Re: RSP2 interference
Open up the ExtIO hardware control window. then under the IF Amplifier section, select Low IF as the mode instead of Zero IF. You can then pick an IF bandwidth of up to 1.536 MHz.

Re: RSP2 interference
What you describe is an artefact of the zero IF or direct conversion receiver. It occurs as a result of two mechanisms. This first is leakage of the LO into the RF path and self mixing to create a product at DC in the analog I/Q paths. The second is DC offsets in the analog stages of the I/Q paths t...
