Re: Beam steering and noise cancelling possible with RSPduo?

This would also be attractive for radio astronomy use. You would have the makings of an phase switching interferometer. Beam steering would be great for us also. Looking forward to the new feature.

Re: RSP2 for radio astronomy

I have some involvement with the SDRPlay and amateur radio astronomy. Some observers in the Radio Jove project are using the SDRPlay 1 to capture beautiful spectrograms of Jupiter and solar emissions. Jupiter's storm signals top off at 40MHz but there are lots of things to do over the entire frequen...

Re: RSSI

I have a program with a free version on my website that might be of interest. It records a strip chart of the sound card (or adc) output. It runs on Windows, and is called Radio-SkyPipe. http://radiosky.com/skypipeishere.html So you can run HDSDR or whatever program demodulates to audio, and set Rad...

Audio AGC cannot be defeated.

We want to use SDRPlay for monitoring solar flares and other radio astronomical purposes. It is important that we turn off AGC completely for these uses, however, there seems to be considerable AGC still applied to the audio line. Monitoring the level of the audio and using a broadband noise source,...

Re: Problems with new API/ExtIO

Don't think my problem relates to the EXTIO, but your solution seems to have fixed it! My SDRPlay quit being recognized by the USB controller. Un-installed and re-installed SDRUno and just to be sure I did the separate drivers install. Then the device was recognized, but the output was a horrid mess...
