What's the difference between SDRUno and SAS?

Hi; I have an SDRPlay RSP1 I use with SDRUno. I was curious about Steve Andrew's Spectrum Analyzer software, so I downloaded and installed the current alpha. Looking at SAS compared to SDRUNO, I see the same 10Mhz spread of the spectrum. Yes, SAS will have some specialized functions, but I don't hav...

Re: Can I run SDRPlay on Raspberry pi 3 b+ without an image?

I used an Rpi3 to install the driver and then wrote my own C program to use the sampled data. Therefore I *know* you can install the driver and I can't imagine why any other app that is designed to work with the driver could not be installed as well. The SDRPlay website has the non-windows workflow...

Can I run SDRPlay on Raspberry pi 3 b+ without an image?

Hi; I just set up my first Raspberry pi 3 b+. I am playing with and learning about it. At this point, I don't want to dedicate my pi as an SDR, but would like to run my SDRPlay on it anyway. Is there a way I can do this - by installing the drivers and an SDR program, but without creating a dedicated...

UNO v 1.23.1 strange behaviour

Hi; I have an RSP1. I just un-installed SDRUNO ver 1.21 (even cleaned out the registry, then rebooted), and installed version 1.23.1. I set up ver 1.23.1 the same as I had ver 1.21 set up: Input: Input Level Display: Gain IF Mode: Low-IF SR (Mhz): 2.0 Dec: 2 LO Lock: Off AGC: Off LNA: Off Mode: LSB ...

Re: SDRPlay RSP1 & SDR#?

I downloaded and installed HDSDR from the SDRPlay site and it is working fine right off. I don't think I'm going to spend any more time with SDR# at this point. Honestly, I don't have the time for outdated software that is pesky to install. I've had enough of that back in the old DOS days

Re: SDRPlay RSP1 & SDR#?

A working copy of SDR# Rev 1361can be installed by following this link scrupulously: https://www.rtl-sdr.com/rtl-sdr-quick-start-guide/ Then presumably you can copy the specified SDRplay driver to the same file, which should do the trick I think. Best of luck. That guide seems to be geared for the ...

SDRPlay RSP1 & SDR#?

Hi; I am trying to get the SDRPlay RSP1 to work with SDR# ver 1.0.0.1361 but not having any luck. I was informed on another forum that this ver of SDR# would work with the RSP1. I have downloaded and installed the following in the SDR#_1361 folder on my Win 7 box: SDR# ver 1.0.0.1361 - not actually ...

SDRUno & Dark Windows Theme

Hi; I am running a dark theme on my Windows 7 box with SDRUno ver 1.21. Everything is OK except one thing: When I right-click the RX Controller dial to set step size, I don't see anything but a white drop-down menu. If I change to a different (dark) theme, I can see the numbers, but I like the theme...

Re: AM Radio Crud - How to Eliminate?

I think I found my problem.
The IF Mode was set to Zero-IF when it should have been set to Low-IF.
