RSP1: DC-Compensation in SDRConsole 3

Dear SDRPlay team, I noticed that the DC-Spike Compensation in SDRConsole 3 (latest Preview) does not work properly with my RSP1. There's always a strong spike at the LO frequency. It was much better in the preview before, and the spike isn't visible mostly when using HDSDR with the ExtIO.dll. There...

Re: Problems with new API/ExtIO

Hi Flo, good to know I'm not alone with this ... It did also not work for me after the installation as admin, HDSDR started to crash again always after a few seconds up-time. So, I decided to uninstall it all: MIRICS drivers, HDSDR, ... Then, I reinstalled it all and it worked - until station memory...

Problems with new API/ExtIO

Dear SDRPlay team, thanks for the updated API / ExtIO! I installed it this morning on my HP7 Stream tablet (Win10 32bit) and first had trouble to get HDSDR started. Several HDSDR error wndows came up (floating point errors, address violation, ...) with the ExtIO named as reason. Since I'm logged in ...

Window restoring

Hi, I just tried the same on my normal PC having a large screen (2560x1440), there it restores all windows correctly on startup and all the window headlines are ok. So, the effects I described in my previous message must be related to my HP7 stream, respectively the lower resolution. I can live with...

Thank you very much!

Dear SDRPlay team, thank you very much for giving us that great SW package! I think this will help to encourage even more people to go for a SDRPlay. Since I had Studio1 some years before, I'm familiar with the GUI philosophy, which is not self-explaining on some edges. So, I struggled a while to sa...

SDRConsole update

Hello, I just read this in the SDRConsole Yahoo group: One thing – I’m waiting for the definitive SDRplay API changes before attacking this part of the code again. Simon Brown GK4ELI http://sdr-radio.com Wasn't the new API ready and you're waiting for Simon to compile it in? Are you in contact with ...

Re: RF Gain?

Dear SDRPlay team, thank you very much for introducing the preset profiles into the extio.dll GUI! That's really nice to have! One question about that: would it also be possible to make it automatically frequency depended switched? Just define lower and upper frequency boarders a certain profile sho...

Re: RF Gain?

Dear SDRPlay team, I've read the technical note about the AGC and made some tests. From that I noticed that the LNA On causes ghost signals (from non-linearity or overload) in the shortwave ranges, even at the moment I do only have a Discone on roof as antenna (which is not a powerful shortwave ante...

Re: SDR# End of support of the ExtIO interface?

Hello, I used the latest plug in - my mistake was just to overwrite the exiting SDR# installation with the new one. I deleted the folder now, made a new SDR# installation, installed the SDRPlay plugin, and now it works! So, it was on the SDR# side not to be able to just install a new version over an...
