Re: SDR Console V3 recording playback navigator window

Roger, I have tried the V2 as you suggest but I find this version very different from V3 both for functions and layout. V2 is also crashing when I start the playback. V3 works now ok when it comes to playback navigation. But I have still a frequency display problem. The recorded frequency display we...

SDR Console V3 recording frequency deviation

I have come across a very big problem when I was recording the AM MW band. I have used some different antennas after starting the recording. A dipole, a longwire 400m and a beverage antenna 400m. On the recording I can see that the switching between antennas created very big frequency deviations on ...

Re: SDR Console V3 recording playback navigator window

Thanks bigroo1958! You have just opened my eyes for this playback function. It does really work as you describe. Being Swedish I may not understand all details for different functions. And yes, I do realize what I have done. I have about 700Gbyte to search for interesting ID:s and call signs. It is ...

SDR Console V3 recording playback navigator window

I have recorded the entire MW band for 11,5 hours. Starting 11th of January at 21:00 UTC, ending 12th of January 08:30. Using the playback window and presetting start playback time is tricky. It works ok until I try to change playback time to 12th of January for instance 06:00 UTC. This setting does...

Re: SDR Console v3

Hi, Have you tried to use the Navigator playback window? Here you can set a time forward, for instance +15 minutes or more. This should work as "fast forward". Unfortunately it does not seem to work backwards. Still I also have other problems with the navigator which I will post separately.

Re: HDSDR visualization with RSP2

Thanks octave9. I have used the slider but that is not the solution. Please see the attachment. I wish to expand the window marked with red arrows and decrease the window marked with yellow arrows. Is this possible? It seems possible when one looks at the Youtube clip from Mile Kokotov. Can anybody ...

HDSDR visualtization with RSP2

I am setting up HDSDR for optimal use on AM MW band as well as SW. I would like to increase the amplitude of the RF spectrum on the screen. The standard set up is much too low amplitude. On Youtube you can see Mile Kokotov demonstrating the use of RSP2 with HDSDR. There the RF spectrum amplitude is ...

Re: Notch Filter and antenna ports for RSP2

Thanks for the comments. I did missunderstand the function of AM notch. I am used to trimming my notch while listening to broadcasts on USB and manage to get rid of disturbing tones for instance. This may be handled by the software SDRUno if I understand correct. ;)

Notch Filter and antenna ports for RSP2

The spec says the AM broadcast MW Notch Filter >30dB is designed for 680-1550 kHz. According to the block diagram the Notch Filter is only valid for antenna port A and B. However port A and B are specified for 1500 kHz - 2 GHz. The Hi Z port which does not have the Notch Filter is specified for 1 kH...
