As a previous user of this antenna, albeit, the previous copper-plate version, after it's psu failed, I used the Bias-T 4.5V supply successfully.
Couldn't detect any difference in performance (which I'm not going to comment on).

Re: RSP2 - A bit confused with connecting antennas
Dipole_fig4-257x300.jpg As a complete know-nothing, I hesitated too get involved. However, since I also have experienced issues with connecting to the Hi-Z port of an RSP2 (not replicated on myRSPDUO using the same antennae and connections) may I make thefollowing comments: If your diplole construc...

Re: A query regarding eathing (grounding)
Thank you both Andy and Mike
I'm happy with the answers and understand.

A query regarding eathing (grounding)
Having done some reading-up on the topic, I now find myself rather confused by either the "depth" of the explanations and the contradicitions that one finds. I am only interested (at present) in a receive-only setup. Question 1: Is it sufficient to ground a simple end-fed long-wire to a co...

Re: It works. Three RX's for two WSJTX's and one RX to play with.
Bang for the buck...Depending on depth of pocket, processing power and how much much "real estate's available,'" a RSPDUO, a RSP2 and a RTLSDR (SCANNING) can give quite a bit of flexibility e.g. 2 X HF & 2 X V/UHF or 3 X Hf & 1 X V/UHF or 4 V/UHF (not too shakey). SP displays avail...

Be sure not to plug the RSP in during installation until prompted to do so. It seems that this may be a frequently made error and is likely to result in the issue that you have experienced.
