Re: ALA1530LN and the tale of four NDB's

Thanks for you patience yet again Andy I have owned up to being non-technical. However, please now add technically blind or worse. Having "studied" the polar diagram, I totally misinterpreted it, assuming that the "deep nulls" of the figure of eight offered the lowest response, p...

ALA1530LN and the tale of four NDB's

My "QTH" is about 130m up on a south facing hillside, in a rural location and the antenna is mounted about 5M from the house on an approx 2M mast, with an uninterrupted view to the S/SW. Previously I used an active mini-whip (with, I think pretty fair success) to receive these beacons. How...

Re: Problem loading all memory data banks after adding an entry

Pehaps a reset to default settings may solve your problem (I believe hat it solves regisry problems), You will however, lose any saveed workspace layouts and need to recreate new.
I have used it successfully with an intractable problem.

Re: Only disturbing signal with SDRPLAY 1

Have you tried another programme? It might be worth trying SDRuno, just to exclude the possibility of corruption occuring within your version of HSDR, although it does seem unlikely. You could try removing the antenna to see what effect it has. Also, another thought, as you are using a laptop, why n...

Re: RSP2 Driver error Win 10

It is not totally clear from your post whether this device has previously worked on the computer to which it is currently (not) connected. If it has and this problem has just arisen you will, of course, have asked yourself what has changed since the last time it was used successfully. I have had usb...

Re: RF Gain control on SDR-Console V3

Your question and it's answers tend are obviously by knowledgeable persons in the radio field. However, as a very "basic" user of and RSP2 and SDRuno (I have tried Consloe and HSDR, but uno suits me better), may I offer the following in case it has been obfscured by technicality. The basic...

Re: Only disturbing signal with SDRPLAY 1

Sorry that it wasn't that simple Andre
My knowledge and experience is very limited, but it might be worth considering LED lights and televisions - my knowledge is now exhausted.
Best of luck,,,
