Re: SdrPlay SDR# satellite Meteor 2 plugin problem

I'm using the version 1361 of SDR# with the QPSK decoder plugin that were both built on the .NET 3.5 platform and this set-up works fine for Metero-M2. The new versions of SDR# and QPSK demodulator plugin are built on .NET 4.6 and - long story short - SDRplay is not supported. So short answer is you...

Re: .NET 3.5 on Windows 10 and SDRSharp

My build 1361 works perfectly fine on Windows 10. Nothing special was required for me to get it running. My WIndows 10 was an upgrade but from a factory fresh windows 8 install.

Re: Can I combine 2 antenna's on SDRPlay ?

Without using a switch about the only to combine multiple antennas is using a duplexer or triplexer. These offer 2 or 3 inputs and 1 output (or the other way around - they are bi-directional). The inputs are frequency specific and there will be some gaps. Diamond, Comet and MFJ make these types of p...

Re: SDR# End of support of the ExtIO interface?

Well, I think your message was polite and non-offensive. If SDR Sharp - as a business - doesn't understand that generating good will can sell more products than aggressive techniques like locking other products out of their software by now then they never will. Point is, news travels fast on the int...

Re: Recommended cable

Yep - that's good stuff. Just make sure you get the F connectors that fit that RG-6 - not RG-59 size.

Re: Linux

After a few attempts I have GNUradio working with the SDRplay on Ubuntu 14.04. But.... I can't get rid of the huge DC spike and that is causing problems. Even if I use a signal source and mix that with the output of the SDRplay source to move off from center frequency, I am still left with intermods...

Re: Recommended cable

Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I assume your 75 ohm cable is RG-6??? If so, pretty hard to beat RG-6 for cost/perfomance. Don't worry about a couple of adapters to go from "F" to SMA you won't even notice the loss. Also, I wouldn't worry about the 75 ohm cable either as 75 ohm cable t...
