Re: Does RSP2 work with Gnu Radio?

Has anybody compiled a windows binary of gr-sdrplay? I can't find it after a lot of googling. Tried compiling it myself, but the dependencies are tricky on windows.

Re: Tryin to get the sample sdr app to work

The rsp1 has fewer lna states, only 0:3 are allowed I believe.

Re: trying to reduce dc offset with low if modes, api differences

Thanks for the information, that explains the spike in the third spectrum... the smaller bandwidth of the first two spectra wasn't large enough to show this spike. Any idea why I'm getting a narrow center spike on each one? This never shows up in commercial software, but I always see it when calcula...

Re: trying to reduce dc offset with low if modes, api differences

The SDRUno low if spectrum also has no DC spike:

Again, I don't know if this is due to the DC offset being removed during the FFT pre-processing, or if there is no DC offset spike because of the low IF mode.

trying to reduce dc offset with low if modes, api differences

I'm currently developing sdrplay rsp2 code using the older version 2.13 API. I'm having some difficulties with the DC offset wiping out a narrow signal (with and without correction), so I'm trying to use low if modes to eliminate the offset. Alternatively, I could tune off from center but I'm trying...

Re: RSP2 and Weather Balloon Tracking and Data Reception - NOAA SkySonde

Thanks for the reply! I do have the open source decoding software for the LMS-6 and that gives me lat / lon / alt, but of course it would be fun to see the weather instrument telemetry as well. I've looked at the raw packets and can match up the hex bytes corresponding to all the known data, but th...

Re: RSP2 and Weather Balloon Tracking and Data Reception - NOAA SkySonde

Thank you for the very interesting post! By chance is there any similar software available to decode the LMS-6 400 MHz radiosondes? -Scott, K4KDR Montpelier, VA USA Unfortunately I don't have a way of decoding any other type of radiosonde. The Intermet sondes are open protocol, allowing anyone to w...

Re: RSP2 and Weather Balloon Tracking and Data Reception - NOAA SkySonde

I'm the NOAA engineer who wrote SkySonde, thanks for the mention. Those looking to try the software can download it from here, along with several other weather balloon tools (note that SkySonde only works with Intermet iMet radiosondes and attached ozone/water instruments): https://www.esrl.noaa.gov...
