Re: Figured out the "Stuck in Seems like LO LOCK Mode" problem

Interesting clue! I'll try that the next time it happens. Have you figured out how SDRUno gets into that mode? It has happened to me a couple times but have yet to be able to replicate the issue on demand. Neither have the SDRUno support folks. Each time it has happened to me, it seems to be somehow...

Re: New User Problems

I have managed to tune the receiver to 101.7 MHz FM in VRX0. Entering 4738 CW in the frequency box does nothing, it continues to output 101.7 and cannot be stopped. Taking the antenna out, switching antennas or even killing the programme won't get rid of it ... total madness ! That sounds suspiciou...

Re: Old to RSP1, new to SDRuno, need help!

OK, I'll take a shot at some of your questions..... 1. Tuning with mouse wheel "how to..." 1.A) how to have the waterfall fixed and the tuning "needle"(*) moving left and right Activate LO LOCK (the button in the SDRUno MAIN panel just above the PLAY button). Tuning will move the...

Re: New User Problems

Is there a way of entering freq with the keypad? Keypad only being numeric? Is there a way of dumping the amateur bands from the keypad and substituting broadcast bands? Try using the memory panel. It is much more useful than the preset bands because it lets you store bandwidth, antenna and mode al...

log10: SING error

Selecting any of the preset ham band buttons with mode SAM selected and SQUELCH selected results in a momentary pause and then a "log10: SING error" box pops up from SDRUno.exe. When the error box is dismissed, normal operation resumes. For me anyway, this is 100% reproducible. As soon as ...

Re: Version 1.21 now available - details here

Right click in the memory panel and choose "Select Banks Folder" - this will remembered. We've discussed storing extra information in the memory panel - it's not totally straight forward, but we are still discussing options. Best regards, SDRplay Support Of course.... forgot that step. Se...

4. Recalling stations from the memory panel automatically unlocks the LO if necessary YESSSS!!!! Thank you for that. I was going to suggest it but figured I'd hold off on any more complaints ;) A very welcome improvement. 1.21 is installed and working correctly as far as I can tell from a brief fir...

Re: RF gain setting

Yes, I have observed that the number of steps changes with the antenna or band. But that is NOT what I am talking about. I find that a setting somewhere in the middle of the range is good for all bands and all antennas and I leave the RF gain set there. However, every once in a while I will select a...

RF gain setting

When I change bands / antenna inputs, the RF gain slider sometimes changes and I have yet to figure out why this is. My testing seems to indicate it is simply a manual setting stored per antenna input but I could swear I have seen it change to a different (and sometimes inappropriate) value on the s...

Re: SDRUno 1.2 issues

Your feedback as with all other feedback is greatly appreciated. We certainly want to make the software as good as we possibly can. We try our hardest, but we are painfully aware that we don't always succeed and unfortunately that leads to some level of frustration (which we can understand) and som...
