So i have done some more testing and it seems to be some type of bug with kali rolling and my Acer travelmate, tested with live versions of kali rolling and kali sana and the panic only happens on the rolling edition.

I have submitted this to https://bugs.kali.org/view.php?id=3205

RSP locking up system

Hi all, Have an interesting one here, i upgraded an i5 laptop to Kali Rolling release of linux and now when i try run cubicsdr or dump1090 (sdrplay version) it completely locks up the system, funny thing was everything was working when i was on kali sana, even more interesting is i'm running the sam...

In the mixer section "Frequency Trim PPM" adjust that value until it is centred with a good known frequency, mine is set to 2.30 but they all vary.
