Re: Recording 2 I/Q streams

Thanks Mike! I also use a second HD for this. I do not like to record I/Q files on a HD with the W10 OS mounted. I'm using a Intel NUC8i5BEH with a Samsung 970 evo 500 Gb SSD and a WD 2Tb 2.5" HD. Want to make a Mediumwave I/Q recording with a Beverage with Tuner 1 and an experimental Lira antenna w...

Recording 2 I/Q streams

Does anyone know if both the I/Q streams of the RSPduo with SDRuno can be recorded to a internal HD simultanious? A 2 MHz sample rate will be used for both receivers. I like to make recordings for comparing antennas at night on MW. An external USB 3.0 drive will also be fine but I guess the ports fr...

Re: Electric Fences

Hi, I have a Beverage antenna partly running 100 meter close to a electric @ 2 meters distance, so it is quite simular to your problem. This antenna is used for MW, LW and VLF. The only salvation I found for coping with the strong pulses is the Noise Blanker of SDRconsole. You can find it when going...

Re: better alternative to Cubic SDR

Thanks for geting back on the thread. Got the rtl_tcp server loaded on the Pi but when activating I get this reply: libusb: error [udev_hotplug_event] ignoring udev action bind detected RSP model 'RSP 1A' (hw ver 255) listening... Use the device argument 'rtl_tcp=127.0.0.1:1234' in OsmoSDR (gr-osmos...

Re: better alternative to Cubic SDR

Mike, I asked Simon (SDRconsole) a few weeks ago and his answer was negative. Later today I will hope to get the console server working from a W10 pc, but the goal was, as I do now, to get the SDRs servers working on a SBC running Linux. I look out for SDRuno v1.4 somewhere in the future  Tha...

better alternative to Cubic SDR

Is there a better program that can connect to a Soapyserver or RSPserver that runs on Windows OS? Any plans of SDRuno connecting to one of these servers in the future :?: I'm a bit put off running Cubic SDR for a few weeks now. For me it has a huge lot of missing components and the, after the scene,...

Raspberry Pi4B SoapyRemote stress test

I have tested how the Raspberry Pi4B under a SoapyRemote connection. My Pi4B has 2 Gb memory and has a 20x20mm heatsink on the cpy with a silent Noctua 40x10_5v fan mounted right on top (2mm) of it. SoapyRemote 0.5.2 was running on the Pi and CubicSDR v0.2.5was running remotely on a Intel Nuc 8i5BEH...

Re: installing liquid-dsp problem

I have managed to get SoapyRemote running. So far so good for the moment. Seems that the 2048 BW setting is working great on the RasPi4 via LAN. Still have to see what sample rate the 5Ghz Wifi can manage. Running CubicSDR on the W10/64 pc now but I don't like its performance. Things sound very nois...

Re: installing liquid-dsp problem

Andy,

At this time I just want to use the RSP4b as a server for SDRplay. I have seen on youtube that there is a SoapySDR server. Maybe I can install this for the present time to get things running for now. Or I can install the TCP server from the SDRplay website.
