I don't understand.

From what I read in the device's description it provides for a USB 2.0 interface and pipes it into a GigaBit EtherNet.

Please explain - What's too slow ?

Would this device allow an SDRplay Receiver to be remotely located, at some distance from a user's PC, and accessed via an EtherNet Local Area Network ?

Re: Binaural Reception ?

Hi, I've never heard of that. It sounds (no pun intended) like a really useful function, if as I suspect it produces gradual tonal change, thus making the audibility of CW signals for instance capable of optimal adjustment. This ability may already be present and well known to real amateurs. amongs...

Re: Binaural Reception ?

Paul You could try setting 2 VRX to the same frequency, one on LSB and the other on USB. The in RX Settings/Out tab/output routing - one receiver to left and the other to right. That should do the trick. Noel. Yes .... That's the idea .... My 'problem' is that I am unaware of a way to then be able ...

Binaural Reception ?

(If the way I lead-in to the subject seems overly-complicated it is because I suspect that there are readers who do not have a background in high-frequency Amateur Radio/short-wave listening.) Going back some years in shortwave/high-frequency radio publications (I'm remembering articles in the Amate...

IQbert said : "double-din car radios" I am really out-of-date .... Anyone ? - An SDRplay Radio Used As The Core Module

Re: VFO & LO for dummies

Hello SDRplay Support; I understand that in Zero IF Mode, when I select a frequency, up pops the spectral display with the LO (and received frequency) at the middle of the screen (with a band of frequencies shown above-and-below the center frequency). My question is .... are there any benefits in us...
