Diversity- Signal or Noise Canceling

Very happy to see the diversity capability is now available! Unfortunately, it seems to be set up for combining signals to improve reception. Actually, I'm not sure about that because the instructions in the manual aren't clear to me and the reference Wikipedia article has left my head spinning. (Pl...

Re: How Do I Display More Spectrum?

Hi Dave, I don't actually need the 10 MHz display. It's just that I was stuck in the 2 MHz display and couldn't find a way out (I don't think it's even covered in the manual...at least I couldn't find it). I was hoping to find a setting narrower than 2 MHz, not wider. I want to record the mediumwave...

Re: How Do I Display More Spectrum?

Hi sdrom33,

I had the extra S-meter turned off. I always get that blank space when it's turned off. I don't know why. I turned it back on and noticed the SNR display under the S-meter. That's a good enough reason to keep it turned on!

Thanks again for your help!

Re: How Do I Display More Spectrum?

Many Thanks to Martien and sdrom33! I have it figured out now. HOWEVER, clicking that ZIF/LIF button triggers some bizarre behaviour. (Gee, I hope I can attach some images!) 1. ZIF Mode. Listening to MW on 1098 kHz. First image. Note the frequency scale, the freq listed and IF freq below it. 2. Clic...

How Do I Display More Spectrum?

The data sheet for the RSPDuo says it can "Receive, Monitor and Record up to 10 MHz of spectrum" at a time in single tuner mode. I just spent the better part of the evening going through the manual that came with my SDRUno 1.31 download and I can't find anything on how to do this. Mine won...

Re: Problems Installing SDRplay/RSPTCPServer - Rasp Pi

Hello and Thank You to StandingWave and Tech_Support!

I see that I completely missed downloading and installing the TCP Server file! No wonder! It's getting late here in Thailand. I'll give it a try in the morning and let you know.

Many thanks again,

Ken

Problems Installing SDRplay/RSPTCPServer - Rasp Pi

I'm trying to use my RSPduo with your server. I downloaded the SDRplay image and wrote it to a micro SD card. My Raspberry Pi works fine with it so far. Now I'm flying in 3 or 4 different directions trying to figure out how to make it all work. I should add that I've spent the last 3 days trying to ...

Re: Calibrating my RSP Duo

Thank you for the prompt reply!

The GPSDO is from Leo Bodnar and it can be set to 24 MHz for the RSP Duo. That much I know. Will try it soon and report back.

Thanks again!

Calibrating my RSP Duo

I just finished watching your YouTube video Using SDR Uno to Calibrate Your RSP . A few questions: 1. I assume this procedure works with my RSP Duo? 2. Does this procedure change a setting inside the actual receiver (the hardware) or does it only calibrate SDR Uno? I recently purchased a GPS discipl...

Re: SDRUno Ready for Diversity RX With SDRDuo?

So what Andy *meant* in the interview is that the Windows API is ready, and according to your roadmap SDRUno is far from it. I can't run an API on my computer and I'm not a Linux user, so I guess I'll pack the radio away again and wait again. I'm kind of interested to see what a "re-architectur...
