Re: Crosscountry radio HF/LF preselector

Yup, I got one for my ic7300. works great. good off-tune rejection. It has a bypass position to search with and then you can dial it in. my perception is that the 'tuned' signal strength is higher than in 'bypass', which would be expected if one is experiencing dense due to broad spectrum RF energy....

Re: Seeing spectrum of UHF (HDTV) Broadcast Band

I don't believe anyone has created a Spectrum Analysis app for the Mirics chip set..
I use Spektrum and touchstone with the RTL dongle and Spectrum Spy with the Airspy...
the actual bandwidth of the device is of no concern if it can be stepped/scanned fast enough..

Re: No HF receive for 2-months now?????

it is a shame the SDRplay team have to be polite.
It would have been nice if you revealed the OS and app you were using.. Only HDSDR and open source SDR# use EXTIO.

Re: RSP2 Frequency is Incorrect

First, according to NOAA data base the 7 assigned NOAA channels are: 162.400 162.425 162.450 162.475 162.500 162.525 162.550 Now your stations transmitter might be a bit out of maintenance window and a little high i frequency.. but I would tend to think not. You have a single receiver sample, your o...

Re: Nothing But Noise on SDRUno

Well I had a simular problem.. but it was nice music..
check to be sure you only have 1 VRX open..

on the main page you should have just one line:
0 sp1 sp2 rx green
not
0 sp1 sp2 rx green
1 sp1 sp2 rx green

ur vrx 0 is on noise and vrx1 might have the command focus.

RTL-SDR.com, RTL-SDR Blog Broadcast AM High Pass Filter and this can't hurt RTL-SDR Blog Broadcast FM Band-Stop Filter
both are $14.95 on Amazon.

Re: Audio cuts in and out

what we need here is a raw thru-put test app like what airspy tools provides for Airspy but for Mirics chips. lots of USB 2.0 pipes are dropping bits by the time we get to 5 (million samples/second) msp.. Its a rare system that lets you get to 10msp without loss (audio drop out). thats 60 - 120 mill...

Re: Different Band on each receiver

Well, that is just 1.8 - 7.4 mhz so if the first rx was on the 80, with a 8mhz bw the vrx's could land on 160 and 40 mtr chunks. Yes?

Re: Different Band on each receiver

Sure, with multipule RSP's. Yes the Virtual RX's are limited to within the 8-10mhz scope of the 1st RX.
