Re: SDRuno opens in tiny nonexpandable window

Another vote for a larger/expandable window. The program cannot be used on my tablet.

Re: Using SDRPlay as RFI Finder

I went back and the signal clearly disappears when I move more than 2 blocks from the approximate source, so I do not think that the signal is a 'birdie'. I am very confused about what to do next.

Any help is appreciated, Ron

Using SDRPlay as RFI Finder

I recently used my SDRPlay and SDRConsole to check out some 2M RFI. The RFI was so strong it could be heard in a scanner with the antenna removed, however the SDRPlay did not display the source (other signals were clearly visible). Some online postings suggest that SDRPLay and/or SDR software may be...

Use of SDRPlay as RFI Sniffer

I used my SDRPlay to try to find some 2M band RFI recently. The RFI source was so strong it was heard using a scanner with the antenna removed, but the SDRPlay did not display the noise. Other signals were received with no problem. The current version of SDRConsole software is being used. I have rea...

Re: USB Cable Adapter for Tablets

I solved my problem. For the next person who tries, a normal micro USB to USB cable is not the same as an OTG (On-The-Go) USB adapter. Apparently OTG cables have some additional circuity required to run normal USB devices on micro USB connectors found on tablets and other small devices. OTG cables c...

Re: New user....

Would anyone be willing to update us on their tablet models being used with the SDRPLay. I have found the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 to have undependable USB ports.

Thanks, Ron

Re: Win10 New Tablet Install Problem

I have a parallel thread going on this issue. I spoke to Lenovo, they had me reload a number of drivers with no luck. I ultimately hooked the tablet to a USB hub and the hub did not see the tablet, so there is a USB port issue. There are a lot of Lenovo Yoga USB problems online, so stay away from th...

Re: USB Cable Adapter for Tablets

Connecting the USB hub was a great idea. The hub did not see the tablet, so the problem is absolutely with the USB port. Further research has identified a slew of USB problems with the Lenovo Yoga products so I am returning it. Would you recommend a tablet which has been proven to work with the SDRP...

Re: USB Cable Adapter for Tablets

I understand physically which cable adapters will work, I have an adapter installed. I posted another thread relating that I cannot get the tablet to recognize the radio when connected. Do you happen to know whether USB adapters are straight-through, or do some have circuitry which might restrict th...
