Re: Bias-T Not working
Hi Ryan. Do you happen to know how much current your devices draw? If it's more than 100mA, this will cause your RSP's safety cut-out to operate, and the 5v will turn off and stay off until a power-cycle. Have you any way (such as a volt meter) of checking there is 5v on the centre pin of the antenn...

Re: Sampling rate vs. max USB rate
I'm no expert in matters digital, but I think at 10 Ms/s, the samples are reduced to 8 bit. I could be wrong (I often am...).

Re: SDR# and RSP2
The reason for SDR# no longer supporting the RSP's is that the writers of the SDR# code make their own SDR receiver (the Airspy) and they didn't want a competitor's receiver to use their software.

Re: Tracking generator info
I'd guess it would be normal to put a 6dB (or higher) pad on the output to end up with a flat 50r output. Taking the output directly from the chip would be risky for the chip and also not be a constant impedance.

Re: Why do my posts suddenly need moderator approval?
Unwanted as it is, I think censorship is sometimes necessary. In this case it was certainly warranted, as the board became throttled by a long-running slanging-match between two posters, and it became quite unpleasant at times. The board is also subject to attacks from advertisers and people who see...

Re: SR (mhz) box
I don't own an RSP1-a (I'm currently using a DUO) but if it operates in the same way, you will only get the SR button if you select ZERO IF mode. Press the button and select 10 MHz SR and use the DEC button to get 1. This should put 10 MHz of spectrum on the display. Selecting DEC 2 will reduce it t...

Re: Initialization problem?
Hi again Jim. That's really odd! I can't find any problem with your settings. A first I thought the distortion may be due to the LO and the VFO being the same, but you're in LIF mode so it doesn't matter. I can only suggest raising a support ticket via the main menu on this site or maybe doing a 'fa...

Re: Antenna Suitability
You should hear something on your silver rod (I think that is a CB aerial?), so check you are entering the frequency in the right format. If you just enter 99.1<enter>, you'll end up on 99.1 kHz and you'll hear very little. If you want MHz, use the MHz button on the keyboard near the S-meter. Also s...

Re: V1.32 Audio Issues w/Windows 10, version 1903?
M3ozp - if you have never picked up anything, how does the audio stutter? Anyway, on to your problem. Have you raised a support ticket with the guys at SDRPlay? They are very helpful and they usually sort out any problems within minutes. Normally there is no 'messing about' with software, you just i...

Re: Initialization problem?
Hi Jim. SDRUno has a steep learning curve, especially if you are also new to the world of SDR's in general. If you could post a screenshot of SDRUno (including all visible windows) when it is misbehaving it would help. Maybe we could spot what's going on.
