Re: SDRUno squelch question

I suppose it's a matter of taste, but to me it seems wrong to use squelch on SSB. SSB is generally a DX.weak signal mode and it would be a very tricky thing to set up so it opens reliably on a weak SSB signal.

Re: Does SDRuno Software Allow For Continuous Tuning ?

If you haven't already, maybe it's time to start a support request with the team.

Re: Does SDRuno Software Allow For Continuous Tuning ?

Paul WB5AGF. If you use the 'band' buttons, the LO will lock at the centre of the chosen band and the sample rate/decimation will be set so the band is framed properly. With the LO locked you cannot tune out of that band. If you want to tune freely, the LO lock should be OFF. With it off you can tun...

Re: Does SDRuno Software Allow For Continuous Tuning ?

I can't make that link work, Paul. But I tend to hover my mouse over the required digit and click to tune and then use the mouse wheel to move up & down. Maybe that's the difference.

Re: Does SDRuno Software Allow For Continuous Tuning ?

That's interesting, Paul. I do a LOT of scudding around the NDB band and lower, but I've never had this happen!

Re: Does SDRuno Software Allow For Continuous Tuning ?

Just leave the LO unlocked and tune up or down as required. You should be able to go anywhere without any locking or unlocking being necessary.

Re: Does SDRuno Software Allow For Continuous Tuning ?

AFAIK, there is no requirement to stop anywhere and re-calibrate. You can just keep tuning and the LO will position itself as you go.

Re: Access to raw data of RSP1

I can't answer most of your questions but I do know that the RSP's are tuner-based hybrids. That is they use superhet-type techniques to produce a low IF (or zero IF) signal which is then sampled. Link to schematic: http://www.sdrplay.com/docs/SDRplay_RSP_Schematics_r2p3.pdf The MSI1001 is a tuner c...

Re: Spike on 120.000 mHz

One of the RSP's converter oscillators runs at 120 MHz, so it may be that. Not sure about the RTL stick - probably something similar, maybe a clock oscillator harmonic.

Re: Bad Experience so far.

Don't feel bad. My experience with the team has been nothing but positive, with questions answered within hours and bug reports acted upon quickly. It seems you have been extremely unlucky.
