Re: New API Release V1.8 ?

Dear Captain Nemo, Yes the new API will ensure that you get the benefit of DC offset compensation and I/Q correction with release 2.2 of he SDR# plugin. What you won't get will be the benefits of the new gain map, but that will be addressed in v2.3 which we hope to have available pretty soon. Sincer...

Re: Problem with the Gain Control setup in ExtIO 3.5

Hello David,
This was in fact a deliberate choice as we thought it better to separate the LNA from the remainder of the gain control. We can change this in a future release if people prefer it as you suggest.

Re: Receiver overload?

This option is only currently available in the ExtIO plugin used by HDSDR and SDR# releases 1361 or earlier. It is not yet available in SDR Console, but we hope it will be in the near future.

Re: FM "ghost" signals on UHF

As already posted elsewhere on this forum: What you are seeing is not an overload or intermodulation issue. These are spurious responses that occur as a result of the use of a block frequency converter to cover the frequency range of 250 - 420 MHz. The block frequency converter uses a fixed LO and t...

Hello delta89, What you are seeing is not an overload or intermodulation issue. These are spurious responses that occur as a result of the use of a block frequency converter to cover the frequency range of 250 - 420 MHz. The block frequency converter uses a fixed LO and the FM signals mix with harmo...

Re: New API Shows 1.6

The installer release is 1.6.0. The underlying API is 1.8.0. We understand that this is confusing, but the version on the website will install release 1.8.0 of the API.

Re: Updates to SDR# plugin?

We are planning a major update to the API, which will be released shortly. SDR# releases of 1361 or earlier will benefit from an updated ExtIO plugin. We have also decided to update the native plugin which is used for releases after 1361 to ensure that these users get the full benefit of the updated...

Re: New features requests

Hello Sasan,
There will be a RSP2, but we are still in the process of undertaking technical feasibility and defining the feature-set. Unfortunately, we are unable to give a schedule at this point in time.
