Re: sdrplay server

If you are a C programmer, you can change one of the existing projects to include SDRPlay support (by changing rtl_tcp for example) Take a look at this topic: http://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=102 Also take a look at SoapySDR project: https://github.com/pothosware/SoapyRemote/wiki (I'...

Re: help

What is your operating system?
Which software have you tested? (and which versions?)
Have you followed "getting started" guides? (http://www.sdrplay.com/starthere.php)
What are the errors you get?
You can't get help without providing some basic information about your problem.

Re: Strange behaviour on 20m

In my QTH (I live in a block house - five floors) I have a problem similar to the pattern in your third picture. In my case it is due to an elevator (to change the speed of the elevator there is an inverter and this generate noise on large part of HF). In the 3rd picture it seems you got the moment...

Re: Strange behaviour on 20m

Hello Sasan. The third screenshot looks very much like the shape of Tetra (or similar) which is used in the 300 - 400 MHz area. As the SDRPlay uses up-conversion to cover the HF bands, it is possible that harmonics of the conversion oscillator are heterodyning UHF signals into the 20m band. This is...

Strange behaviour on 20m

I've got a very strange problem occurring only on 20m (14MHZ). I haven't seen this occur on other frequencies: The shape of spectrum and waterfall changes for some time (less than a minute) and then gets back to normal. In that period, I can't receive anything. It's just noise. It occurs with differ...

AM images on LF and MF range

Hi
I knew about FM images on UHF (380-440)
Today I was playing with SDRPlay and I heard some commercial stations on 18KHZ, 155KHZ, 276KHZ, etc
I knew that these can't be real and found out that these are in fact, images.
Has anyone else noticed this behaviour before? Can it be overcome?

Thanks

Re: Experience with USB galvanic isolators?

I haven't used galvanic isolators, but I'm using a shielded USB cable (those with ferrite beads)
See my results here:

Re: 380-430 MHz. ?

It was removed on August with a software update:

We have now released our updated API - the new API fixes the frequency gap we have had up until now (previous gap was 380MHz to 420MHz worst case) -. It has been completely removed

Re: SDRPlay with GQRX

Sorry but I am using Linux, not OS X Have you downloaded last gr-osmosdr and substituted lib/sdrplay/sdrplay_source_c.cc with modified source from SDRPlay GIT repo? Regards Franco Spinelli IW2DHW Thank you Franco. I replaced the "sdrplay_source_c.cc" with "http://www.transmitter.com/...

Re: SDRPlay with GQRX

Please move hardware frequency 2 or 3 kHz away from receiving frequency. What system are you using? Regards Franco Spinelli IW2DHW Well, I did that and no success! (I can hear the sound with lots of noise and hiss) Although it works with CubicSDR without problems. I'm using OS X 10.11.2 on a MacBoo...
