Re: broadcast spurious in the LF band

Hi As the only build in filter in that range is a 12MHz low-pass it is normal. The solution is to use an external one. As the maximum bandwidth of the RSP1 is about 10MHz incorporating narrower filters would have : Destroyed this useful feature Increased the cost a lot. Deteriorated the flatness of ...

Re: Seeing spectrum of UHF (HDTV) Broadcast Band

There's not a lot to see with digital TV, just 'blocks' of what looks like noise. That is not true :) If the top of the noise is not flat it indicates either a badly oriented aerial with echoes or SFN or MFN interference. mystere.JPG Here you see the difference between channel 22 correctly received...

Re: sdrsharp 1361

SDRsharper is an alternative to sdrsharp that I have been using happily since it appeared. You just have to add the ExtIO*.dll It can be downloaded here: http://www.qsl.net/sdr/ see also : http://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=367 At first glance it may seem complicated but it comes with ...

This is an alternative to VAC I used successfully in the past:

Re: dump1090 and RSP2 notch filters

I find myself disoriented after reading your response. The AM/FM BC notch filter of the RSP2 is software-selectable but I though it was an 'actual' filter, not a 'software filter' (DSP filter ?)... The RSP2 FM filter is specified as providing >60dB on the range 80 – 100MHz. So I understood it is us...

Re: dump1090 and RSP2 notch filters

Hi There is no way that a software filter could be of any use on a signal outside the maximum 10 MHz bandwidth of the RSP. And even when it is useful it uses a lot of dynamic range and processing power. To protect from 100MHz when receiving 1GHz a shorted IGHz quarter wave line connected with a T ad...

Re: DRM reception with SDRPlay and SDRUno

With Sodira you can use ExtIO_SDRplay_RSP1.dll and control directly your SDRPlay. sodira.gif On the GUI I recommend using Zero IF with 200KHz bandwidth as Sodira is not suited for wide bandwidth. Also check enable post tuner DC/IQ Compensation in the advanced panel to avoid the zero IF line on the p...

Re: Visualising 1090 MHz pulses

Hi
It should be possible but the software is missing AFAIK.
A possible trick would be to record I/Q as an audio file with high 3 MHz sampling rate
and then to play it back much slower in audacity or another software able to display audio waveforms.
