Re: Windows 10 professional & SDRUno

Thanks Mike
You're right!
Why didn't I think of doing that??
Now to find out how to remedy that if possible.
Cheers

Windows 10 professional & SDRUno

Greetings Is there a known issue with Windows 10 professional and SDRUno? I have two Dell laptops, both running Windows 10, one of which happily runs Uno and other programmes that will run an RSP2. However, the second machine, with the Windows 10 professional edition will not run SDRUno. The program...

Re: Which Windows 10 SDR Software(s) Work with the RSP2?

What Andy said works very well for me - arrived at it independently. The only difference is that I mostly start off with 250 K on the Sp1 display, sometimes reducing it a little to suit the area of spectrum that I'm looking at but for ultimate signal resolution, I can't imagine improving on the SP2 ...

Re: Saving a Workspace

Stunning!
Also SDRUno, cross-platform and free takes a bit of beating and please be aware that there are very useful SdrPlay insructional/informational videos on youtube.

Re: Saving a Workspace

In the upper left-hand corner of the/a memory panel is a button/tab labelled "Store." Clicking this button/tab saves all available details of the frequency that you are receiving into the next available line of the panel. Reading about the memory panel in the user manual is to be recommend...

Re: RSP2 & NDB RECEPTION

Thanks for your interest JMG Something more to look at - but to be honest, I'm still "building" my current setup and although for general purposes, it's working pretty well, there is certainly plenty of scope for improvement. Wellbrooks are certainly interesting and I may have a go at buil...

Re: RSP2 & NDB RECEPTION

A second thank you Andy 1. Success - finally! - AQC (AQABA) on 346.468 (USB) 2. I now know the "shape" of a NDB signal, which of course is most helpful 3. The mini-whip worked better, so I'll see if the Hi-Z input can be improved. It's taken me quite a long time to get to here...and wouldn...

Re: RSP2 & NDB RECEPTION

Thanks for the response Andy - I'm a little (much) wiser after that. I have tried both Ports A (active mini-whip) - that does seem to perform well in the range) and also a longwire to the Hi-Z Port. Both appear to receive CW carriers well, but not a peep of the tones. I will of course give our sugge...

RSP2 & NDB RECEPTION

Has anyone on this forum successfully received NDB morse signals using the RSP2? if yes, I would be interested in what settings were used to achieve this. The SDR at Twenthe university in the Netherlands receives the Bottrop NDB (BOT), appears to be on CW 403KHZ but the morse signal is only received...
