Antenna ports

Hi-Z Port delivers as advertised using 20M longwire directly connected (No 9:1). Port A using a Scanking 0.05 to 2000 Mhz discone really delivers the goods! Not quite up to the longwire/Hi-Z although under certain conditions it can actually sometimes improve on that (of course everyone's situations ...

sdruno/sdrplay/laptops

To be honest, I don't know which heading to post this query under - but here goes: I have two Dell laptops both running windows 10, one runs SDRUNO/PLAY without difficulty, but the other that I would prefer to use (because of it's speed) has a SSD and consistently fails to run the programme and afte...

sdruno recording

Firstly a suggestion that maybe worth considering: A squelch operated recording option. Secondly: I have recently found that on my system recordings are made using the LO frequency, which is a real snag if the LO is not the same as the tuned frequency and if the LO is the same as the tuned frequency...

Re: sdr uno memory scanning.

Just to amplify the memory bank and reference to scanning feature (eagerly awaited) - please be aware of this entry in the sdrplay/sdruno user guide user guide: 11.5 Memory data fields Currently each memory location includes 5 data fields: Frequency This is the most important field of course; freque...

qms and qmr

I didn't want to display my ignorance, however......
What are qms and qmr? - probably since I don't know I am unlikely to make use of these "buttons" on the RSP2 RX panel.
I would like to know though.

Re: Suggestions for future SDRUNO releases

May I respectfully point out that the memory bank sizes are for all practical purposes unlimited - you are able to add and insert lines as you wish - the instructions int SDRUno user manual are pretty clear.

Re: sdr uno memory scanning.

Unfortunately the SDRPlay/SDRUno team don't seem to have got around to it yet for the, although I have seen a suggestion that it may come sooner or later. I believe that the RSP1 can use the SDR# scanning option but not the RSP2. The memory banks are said to be intended for use in a future scanning ...
