HDSDR 2.76a and ExtIO installers updated to API 2.13

We have updated the HDSDR and ExtIO installers available from our Downloads page (https://www.sdrplay.com/downloads) to support the API 2.13 release. The purpose for the ExtIO plugin update is to support the API 2.13 which has an improved ADC overload acknowledgement system. We have kindly been give...

Re: Weird behaviour simply changing the SR

The IF bandwidth can be either 200, 300, 600, 1536, 5000, 6000, 7000 or 8000 kHz So for sample rates of 2, 3 and 4 MHz, the 1536 kHz IF bandwidth is used, so you will see attenuation of the signal outside of the IF bandwidth. At 5 MHz, the 5 MHz IF bandwidth is used, so that's why it looks "nor...

Re: Central Frequency in CubicSDR - 1.024MHz limit

I would need to check, but my guess is that CubicSDR doesn't allow the display of negative frequencies? If you are only able to set half of your sample rate then this could be the reason. There is nothing in the hardware or API provided by SDRplay to prevent you from setting a frequency as low as 1 ...

Re: RSPduo & trunked radio systems

If DSD+ can communicate via CAT, then SDRuno could be used that way - it will respond as per a Kenwood TS-480

Hope that helps,

Re: SDR UNO+WINDOWS+RASPBERRY PI 3B

It would have to be able to emulate Windows/x86 - even if there was an emulator I don't think it will have the power to run Windows, the emulator and SDRuno Our aim is to make SDRuno available on Mac OSX and Linux/x86 but that's it at the moment. I have no timescale for that. Best regards, SDRplay S...

Re: Serial Not Listed for Linux API/Driver

If you are having a problem registering the device in the StartHere process (https://www.sdrplay.com/start-here) you can raise a support ticket at https://www.sdrplay.com/support and we'll help you. The API installation isn't dependent on the serial number. You will need to get the right API for you...

Non-Windows Workflow Update

As part of our plans to increase the software support for the RSPduo, we have updated 2 key libraries to enable single tuner mode functionality using API 2.13 on all supported platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux – both x86 and ARM based). The first of these libraries is SoapySDRPlay (https://github.com/p...
