Re: Raspberry Pi???

You need the Raspberry Pi 2 & 3 driver which also does the udev install...

Re: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

I would check what USB port you are using - is it 2.0 or 3.0 - I would use an external mains powered USB hub to see if the problem goes away. We haven't seen that problem before.

Re: Possible bug in Linux sdrplay API

One thing I would check is that mir_sdr_Init RF frequency is specified in MHz and mir_sdr_SetRf uses Hz - can you check there is a conversion before it's being called? Also, whilst in principle a shift in 10kHz should be possible to use offset mode, this will not work at the edges of a band. A chang...

Re: No ADS-B Reception

The modulation used is pulse position modulation (PPM) I believe. It's a digital system and each burst of data contains 112 bits of data. You would have thought 50 miles from an airport would be good, however from tests that I've done, you'll have more success with planes at a higher altitude. For e...

Re: No ADS-B Reception

It's a line of sight system and the signal comes from aircraft transponders, so it will depend on where your antenna is located, etc. - the signal is at 1090MHz - I made an 8 stage co-linear antenna - you can find plenty of videos on youtube showing how to make them, it's pretty straight-forward. Be...

Re: SDRPlay on Mac OSX

Hi,

That's a mistake in the library, just remove the version check from the code for now. We are fixing the library release version in the next release.

Re: ADSB News?

The Windows version has a fault with the built-in HTTP server and cannot be used. The other outputs work fine. For example the beast mode output 30005 to Virtual Radar works well.

We'll try to address this in future releases.

Re: SDRPlay on Mac OSX

The API contains Mirics IP and will not be released in source code form. Have you thought about interfacing to SoapySDR (as CubicSDR does) or you can use dlsym(ApiDll, "mir_sdr_Init"); - I can send you some code as an example for importing the .so or you can look at the SoapySDRPlay code t...

Re: Profiles and screen resolution

Sorry for the delay on this. I have just resized the profiles page which will appear in the next release of the ExtIO plugin. We're working on it, but I don't have a release date as yet, I just wanted to let you know I hadn't forgotten.
