Hi JMG.\n\nJon is right in his comments above, the units cannot be modified to cover the 400MHz frequency band as it is a function of the tuner VCO coverage that is the limiting factor. Alas no. \n\nIn practice there will be some coverage close to 400MHz but exactly what will depend on the specific chip in your device. There is firmware that runs on the MSi2500. This mainly runs the core USB functions on the receiver. The firmware is downloaded to the device by the driver when it is first plugged in.
