Re: Interference identification?

Heinrich I tried to reply to your PM but it seems you have opted to no receive PMs from other members. Not important though. The pulses are still gone but I have a new neighbor who obviously got his TV moved into the apartment now, it's "only" narrowband muck every few 100kHz but still - w...

Re: Version 1.04 and VErsion 1.12

On my i7 laptop I never had any performance issues with SDRuno 1.12, today I'm trying some "convertible" tablet with Win10 and an Atom x5 something CPU and made some (kind of) unexpected observations re dropouts: - in Low IF mode, 8192k sample rate/decimation 4/1536k BW is giving me dropou...

Re: Interference identification?

The pulses are gone this morning, I just don't know for how long. Trying to locate the source using a portable turned out to be quite a challenge and I failed miserably at it, that the interference consists of pulses didn't make it any easier. Too bad we don't have anything like class action lawsuit...

Re: How to get rid of phantom signal from SDR?

When ever I open my SDR the station it was last tuned to always has a phantom signal stuck on that location on the spectrum. When you tune up and down that signal always remains at that spot. Really annoying. You're in 'Zero IF' mode. What you see is the DC spike that remains fixed on the LO freque...

Re: Interference identification?

Well this thread must be jinxed...I enjoyed mostly unharmed reception until this weekend but now... :( ...exact 1 second pulses from 0 to 10 MHz and some dense muck between 2 and 3 MHz... interference_since_20170310.jpg ...level-wise centered at 5 MHz (check the faint peak hold line on the spectrum ...

Re: Interference identification?

Oh, thank you. That makes sense: we've had a new neighbour move in recently. Looks as if I'll just have to put up with it. :( I think what you see there on the screenshots (thanks for them, nice examples I may refer to in future discussions!) is an idling PLC modem. In other words, it could get mor...

Re: SDRSharp Zoom FFT not working at all

For example - SDRUno was brought up for the RSP1. I'd love to see it have an audio output to feed RDSSpy (192kHz sampling rate needed) and other stuff such as a scanner. Hopefully it will happen one day - but the RSP2 was brought out and no doubt all the resources went to getting that working on SD...

Re: SDRplay and SDR sharp

The files are just zipped program directories made from an existing install, so you just need to unzip/copy them to some place. The v2.2 ExtIO plug-in works only with SDR#v1411 and higher (as indicated by the "SDR# v1411+" ), you need to install the other one.

Re: SDRplay and SDR sharp

Not sure about Win10, it occasionally needs to be run in XP compatibility mode on Win7 already (doesn't want to start otherwise) and there are some quirks with the ExtIO plug-in (in particular with the RSP2), best practice (for me) is to never activate the HiZ input and just use it for the stuff abo...
