Panadapter

Hi, I want to set up my RSP1A to run as a panadapter. The config I would like to try is the RSP1A gets it's signal from the IF out of my radio, this works fine with SDRuno on my PC. I want the panadapter to be independent of my PC. I have a small ...

SDRuno RSPduo and K3 IF

Hello Group, I’d like to hear your experience on running the RSPduo RX with SDRuno s/w as Panadapter for the Elecraft K3/K3S using the IF output of this transceiver. I connect the IF output to one of the RSPduo inputs and tune it to the K3’s IF frequency at 8,215 mHz. ...

Gee ... this is nice.

Gee. I am enjoying my RSP1a. I previously used multiple Brand X SDR receivers as a panadapter for my transceivers, but they were so fussy and unreliable, I spent more time computing than operating and making contacts. Finally, I have a product that works as promised, ...

Re: FTDX3000 Panadapter using IF OUT

Yes it's 100% protected when using the RX or IF out. Apply the tweaks from this 3rd party PDF. Most likely the USB port is going into power save mode.

... for the great response to my question, I really appreciate your taking the time to provide a detailed example of how you are using the RSP2 as a panadapter. I will verify whether the IF out-1 has protection and take your recommendation of using 10 db attenuators. Now about the Kenwood TS-830s ...

Re: Using SDRplay RSP2 pro as panadapter w/Kenwood 830s

... by the first IF crystal filter. Nevertheless, you can see signals several 100's of kHz. away from centre frequency so it's still useful as a panadapter. When transmitting, my 850's circuit does some muting/attenuation but you can still see a residual of the TX signal. It's much lower than ...
