Re: No IF vs Low IF - when, why, and how?

Go to the Main panel and click SETT. in the upper left. There, under INPUT you will find a setting for IF mode. Also, in the same settings, click the CAL tab and you can select the LO Plan Frequency.

Re: New User Problems

At the bottom of the Receiver window is a yellow Audio Volume Gain slider bar. At the left side of the bar, click "Mute" to turn off the volume for a particular VRX.

Re: How to change freq on Laptop without wheel mouse

As, I said, everything is working fine on my laptop. I like SDRUno. I had a learning curve, but it wasn't that long. Mostly, I discovered that the software can do a lot more than I could discover in one sitting. There is more access to the gain controls and individual filters in SDRUno than in the o...

Re: How to change freq on Laptop without wheel mouse

I think that is changed by hitting the space bar. I made an error by saying you could click on the number to move it. That's in another SDR program. the arrows work on my HP laptop. Re: RX-TX switch for SDRPlay

The new API seem to have resolved the recovery time problem. It now recovers immediately after transmitting. I have also found that I can reduce the AGC a lot more and still have good sensitivity for CW reception. I leave the LNA at minimum.

Re: RX-TX switch for SDRPlay

I should mention that this Magic Box has worked well with my other communications receiver, but with the SDR, it still gets sufficiently overloaded that the audio section takes several seconds to recover. I still haven't solved this problem. It's too long a recovery time for CW. The Magic Box itself...

Re: No signal on FM Broadcast band 100MHz

You have to connect an antenna to SMA A. The balanced wire connection is only for 30MHZ and below.
