Re: New User Problems

Hello GM4FDM, Do you have a frequency offset between your LO and VFO? This is very important with AM signals in Zero IF mode. The reason for this is that in a zero IF receiver, the LO appears at DC in the I/Q baseband paths and the DC offset compensation algorithms are designed to suppress DC offset...

Re: DVB/DAB

Hello Boswell, This work can only be done by agreement with Mirics, but we currently have no agreement in place for the RSP2 and despite your question, the demand for this seems very low. If you are interested in DAB, the SDR-J does work for the RSP2 for DAB and DAB+. I'm sorry that we missed this q...

Re: Windows 7 driver issues - help

Hello Boswell, The problem you are seeing is as a result of a recent change by Microsoft which means that Windows update no longer contains the patch above that supports SHA2 driver signing - which is required for Windows 7, 8 and 10. Please apply the following security patch provided by Microsoft v...

Re: Occupied Uno

Hello Jukka,
This has been discussed and it is on the list of things to change in SDRuno. I'm afraid I cannot give you a schedule of when it will be done though. It is not quite as straightforward to implement as it might seem.

Sincerely

Re: SDRPlay2 wont work on SSB

Hello N4MTB, If you are able to receive AM signals in the MW band, then it is unlikely (although still possible) that you have a hardware fault. The best route forward would be for you to open up a support ticket at: www.sdrplay.com/support/ and we will try to help you. Please be prepared to get scr...

Re: RSP1 and 14 bit resolution

Hello Gio, You can always use software decimation on the host PC. Theoretically, a decimation factor of 4 gives 1 additional bit of resolution at the expense of reducing the bandwidth by a factor of 4. Decimation will certainly help you resolve weak signals in the SP1 display, but that is really a v...

Re: RSP1 and 14 bit resolution

Hello David, We asked the question and the answer that we have received is that unfortunately, there is no way to increase the ADC resolution on the RSP1 and RSP2. Even had it been possible, you would have been unlikely to see any benefits anyway due to limitations in the design of the RF front end....

Hello Ian
After you have selected the MA button (so that it is highlighted orange), minimising any window will minimise every window.

Re: sdrplay 2 usb connnection

Hello Arthur, The driver signing issue is a recent problem that has occurred on some Windows 7 installations as a result of an update from Microsoft. Please try applying the following Microsoft patches to see whether they resolve the problem. Windows 7 32 bit https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...
