Re: RSP1A: wobbling spurs around 2.335MHz * n

More info about my above post: 1- I'm sure a lot of you already know: changing the IF mode, changes these frequencies; 2- In Zero-IF mode, these are my spurs on RSP2: 2.297MHZ , 2.326MHZ 4.599MHZ, 4.658MHZ 6.906MHZ, 6.993MHZ 9.187MHZ , 9.300 MHZ and on and on. These "pairs" are only visible below 16...

Re: RSP1A vs RSP2 internal noise

Update: 1- I will follow up the spurs issue on the other thread to prevent duplicates on the forum. 2- As per the internal noise on RSP2, the situation will be much better with manual gain (though I was and am curious why with automatic gain and similar settings, RSP2 and RSP1A show different noise ...

Re: RSP1A vs RSP2 internal noise

This thread may be of interest: https://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2727 Thank you for pointing out; I should have checked that earlier; Checking that thread revealed another problem for me (which I will follow up in that thread): I have only one recurring spur on RSP1A, but two o...

Re: RSP1A: wobbling spurs around 2.335MHz * n

Well in my case RSP1A is better than RSP2. As I've already posted here (http://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2797) about my internal noise issues, I only have one such spur on RSP1A, but two on RSP2 ! RSP2 without any antenna attached on CubicSDR on a MacBook: (I've the same situatio...

Thread for gr-osmosdr and GNURadio problems/ideas

Hi I am creating this topic to discuss various problems that we have on gr-osmosdr and GNURadio (and also gqrx) when it comes to RSP support. We can discuss solutions and then some of us can help in fixing them by proposing our own changes via pull requests, or creating issue/ticket on the respectiv...

RSP1A vs RSP2 internal noise

Hey I was playing around with SDRPlay today and noticed something that wanted to share with you. 1- It seems there is an internal noise/signal at around 2.48MHZ and all its harmonics (4.96MHZ, 7.5 MHZ, 9.97MHZ, etc). These frequencies may drift over time. This is observed on both RSP1A and RSP2. Cha...

Re: RSP1A-14bit-ADC-info

Question for tech support about RSP1. Was this feature unlocked also for RSP1 in the latest version of drivers and sw? Or maybe this will be done in future releases of sw? (Maybe you have already posted on this argument... maybe i didn't got your post...) Bye Gio Hey Gio I think what you're asking ...

Re: RSP2Pro, SPRUno, and the Mac

I'm about to purchase an RSP2 or RSP2Pro. However, one thing I'm wondering is how usable this device and the SPRUno software are on the Mac. Sorry if I'm repeating others' questions here, but I haven't been able to find out much on this topic anywhere. I'd be grateful if anyone could provide some a...

Re: Is it makes sense to wait RSP2A?

Bullshil is claiming this device as "native 14bit", while using 12bit ADC. User will get exactly the same dynamic range, as using the previous model with software enabled decimation. So, for my question "is it makes sense to upgrade RSP2 ...", the answer is "no". Have you read this? It answers a lo...
