Re: Need help getting SDRplay source block in gnuradio

That build doesn't look like SDRplay support has been enabled. Take a look at the results of the build process. It says: "NONFREE components have been enabled." Can you say where you got the gr-osmosdr release from and what command line you used to build it please. From git://git.osmocom.org/gr-osm...

Re: Need help getting SDRplay source block in gnuradio

Ok, i went the lazy route. I removed everything Homebrew and installed MacPorts. Worked straight out of the box. I built gr-osmocom with the ENABLE_NONFREE and CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/opt/local options and all seemed to work well. SDRplay is supposed to be supported. -- ###############################...

Re: Need help getting SDRplay source block in gnuradio

I have posted on the gnuradio mailinglist and on the gnuradio reddit site. I run into too many problems installing gnuradio. A provess that should be a simple brew install gnuradio turns out to be not that simple. This is what i posted on the mailinglist and reddit: Mac OSX 10.10.4 gnuradio 3.7.7.1 ...

Re: Need help getting SDRplay source block in gnuradio

I've got a really weird problem. I install gnuradio using homebrew according to the steps provided on https://github.com/metacollin/homebrew-gnuradio. I start gnuradio-companion and all seems to work fine. Then i build gr-osmosdr according to the instructions on http://www.sdrplay.com/docs/Mirics_SD...

SDRplay 6MHz off?

http://i57.tinypic.com/1zqbktz.png In this image you can see an FM broadcast station on 111MHz. This station is supposed to be on 105MHz. As you can see there is nothinig on 105MHz. This means the SDRplay is 6MHz off. I cannot believe this. I must be me doing something wrong. BTW, this is with the ...

Need help getting SDRplay source block in gnuradio

I have compiled the latest gr-osmosdr and installed gnuradio. When i launch gnuradio-companion i don't see a source block for the SDRplay. How do i get that source block into gnuradio?

gnuradio 3.7.7 installed using homebrew

Thanks,

Ton.

Re: SDRPlay on Mac OSX

That's exactly what i mean. When you read through all the platform support on the website you realise that SDRplay is a development platform unless you are using Windows. No need for building Windows executables, they are ready and available for use. There are even instructions on how to get the Ext...

Re: SDRPlay on Mac OSX

Thanks for getting back to us. And yes, from the little time i know SDRplay i did experience that you are communicating with the community. Keep it up, so we know what to expect. What are you doing with ADS-B? I hope you are not going to write the next SDR software. Or at least, that writing SDR sof...

Re: SDRPlay on Mac OSX

I think what potentially confuses a lot of SDRplay buyers is the fact that they have a platforms section on their website which you need to read through to understand that your first impression (SDRplay supporting Windows, Mac, Linux, Pi and Android) is actually wrong.
