Re: Magnetic Loop Antenna with SDRPlay
"Degen style" antennas (or tuned high impedance loops) are certainly not a bad choice for portable operation at low power (batteries). For fixed installation a wideband loop covering 10 kHz ... 30/60 MHz should be preferred. You can put it in your garden (hopefully) as far away from neighbouring noi...

Re: FLDIGI only partial waterfall.
Yes, you are right. The squelch sometimes spoils decoding. I also have forgotten many times to watch the slider .
BTW: 80 Hz or 85 Hz is not the problem. I believe it should be 82 Hz, but this is all within tolerance.

Re: FLDIGI only partial waterfall.
Hello Wolfgang, sorry that I cannot help. This station works with SDRuno, HDSDR, wherever the sound comes from (maybe even from the Dutch WebSDR). My settings are: Carrier shift 80 Hz (custom) Baud rate 50 Baudot 5N1.5 Revers "Rv" in the main window clicked (because I am using USB resp. DIGU). Here ...

Re: SDRuno Settings with K3 IF
Is there a way to have the DC Spike offset from my tuned frequency Hi, you only can click into the waterfall/spectrum window next to the center. Then every tuning will take place with an offset and you can avoid the center soundcard spike. But at next start SDRuno returns to the center and you are ...

Re: Digital Modes
After reading another message here about fldigi referring to this post I came upon section 6 In HDSDR, click on SOUNDCARD and then RX INPUT FROM RADIO. Change this to match the setting you selected in your digital mode software. You should not change the RX Input from Radio. This must remain your ra...

Re: FLDIGI only partial waterfall.
Hello, fldigi just "listens" to any sound at the soundcard you have selected in fldigi Configure, Sound Card, Capture. As long as you can hear uninterrupted sound from your HDSDR, fldigi should "hear" the same uninterrupted sound. I am using VB Audio Hi-Fi Cable as a default soundcard in my system a...

Re: SDRUno CAT problem
Hello Paul, your FT2000 must be connected to a physical COM port on your PC where Omnirig is runnning. It seems as if you are trying to access the FT2000 through an uRouter network. I do not have such a setup and cannot comment on uRouter. But, when Omnirig Client.exe finds the FT2000 and reports fr...

Re: SDRUno CAT problem
In order to control your FT2000 you do not need VSPE. Install Omnirig. The rest of the procedure is described in the SDRuno manual. In short: Go to MAIN window, SETT., ORIG and check if your FT2000 is on-line. Then go to RX CONTROL window, SETT., ORIG and select what direction you want to control (V...

Re: Bonito Mini Whip Active Antenna - how to connect to SDRplay?
Yes, you should have a couple of various SMA adaptors "in stock" because many rigs use them now (Elad, Funcube, RTL dongles, USB network analyzers...)SDRPlayer1702 wrote:I also didn't have compatible SMA Male connectors for the SDR Player RSP and I will receive soon.

Re: Bonito Mini Whip Active Antenna - how to connect to SDRplay?
What exactly is the problem? You connect your RSP with the bias T splitter which came with the antenna and the bias T with the antenna. Mind the labeling, that is, do not confuse antenna and RX side of the splitter. The bias T needs a clean DC voltage from a hopefully noise free power supply. Or is ...
