Re: AM Radio Crud - How to Eliminate?
OK. I will install the latest rev (1.21) alongside the older (1.13) version. Play around with it for a few hours, then report back.

Re: AM Radio Crud - How to Eliminate?
Hey guys; I just upgraded my SDRUno from ver 1.13 to version 1.21. I have an RSP1. Immediately on starting up the new version I was hearing AM broadcast stations on all bands, and no matter what frequency was tuned the AM stations did not change. Even if I changed bands, I heard the same stations. R...

SDRPlay (RSP1) on Android phone
Hi; I would like to use my SDRPlay RSP1 on my Android 7.0 (LG Fiesta) phone. I have read about having to use an "USB OTG" cable, and that I will probably need an external (battery) power supply. So I need a "Y" cable to connect the phone to the SDR and the battery. My goal is to use my SDRPlay to sn...

Re: RX-TX switch for SDRPlay
I have found several solutions online using a small relay. But as you said, the relay needs to switch out and ground the receiver before any RF from the transmitter reaches it. I'm running an HW-101 with up to 100W output. I'm thinking I could use an inexpensive external relay to switch out and grou...

RX-TX switch for SDRPlay
Hi; i want to use my SDRPlay (RSP1) on the same antenna I will be using to transmit on. My rig is Heathkit HW-101 (vacuum tube) @ 100W PEP max. I want to be 100% sure that the transmitter cannot be keyed while the SDR is connected to the antenna, and I want the SDR to be grounded while not connected...

USB cable recommendation?
Hi; Can anyone tell me which brands of USB cables work best with the RSP1? I have several that were not suitable, because they caused RFI into the RSP through the antenna, which is an outdoor wire with un-un transformer. The one I am currently using is too long, so I need a shorter one. I suspect th...

RSP1 Max input signal?
Hi; I have the SDRPlay RSP1. I have been seeing some EMI on the HF bands, and would like to know whether some of the problem could be the RSP's inability to reject the unwanted signals. The only tunable signal source I have is my RigExpert AA-170 antenna analyzer. It can perform as a rudimentary sig...

Record file size
Hi; I have tried the record feature in SDRUno, and am interested in knowing whether there is a way to reduce the file size. After about 30 mins of recording baseband, I have a total of about 5Gib in several files (each file is a max of about 2Gib). Also, is there a way to change the default folder i...

Re: Centering panadapter display
Strangely, or not, you meed to be zoomed to at least one level before the "vfo" button will work to center your display.
