Re: RSP2 operating and/or Bias-T supply on over a long time
@Mike - I'm not using ExtIO. My program runs on an RPI3 (latest Rasbpbian OS) and communicates directly with the RSP2 via the API. However I might try making the same sort of measurements to see what happens. @RSP2user - your post made me think (a dangerous thing I'm told so I try to avoid it) and i...

RSP2 operating and/or Bias-T supply on over a long time
At this stage it is only a suspicion that I have but.... I have an RSP2 that is being driven by a RPi3. The RSP2 is connected to two antenna: a discone on Port A and a QFH with LNA on Port B. (The goal is to capture the weather images from the NOAA and METEOR satellites - the discone when they are a...

Re: Monitor multiple channels at one time?
I found the YouTube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq6hF5g2J9M to be very useful (if you don't like clocking on the link, go into YouTube and search for "SDRUno VRX" and it was the first on the list for me).

Code to decode QPSK signals
I've written code to take the IQ data from the RSP2 (running at 2MHz sampling) to select the specific frequency of interest (actually picking up the NOAA POES signals) and then perform an FM decode. All of this is working well. I'm looking to decode the QPSK signals from the METEOR-M2 satellite and ...

Re: Gain (reduction) settings via the API
Thanks for the quick reply (by my reckoning it is probably something ridiculously early in the morning in the UK). The code example is actually the one I based my code on but I am still having problems trying to relate the SDRUno controls to the API calls and therefore the values that I need to set....

Gain (reduction) settings via the API
I have tried to understand the API documentation and the various documents about how to manage the gain settings but I must admit that I'm having problems. Using SDRUno I can see the signal that I'm trying to capture in my program. The settings I use in SDRUno are: - IF AGC option is off and the sli...

How flexible is the sampling rate API value?
I'm writing a program that uses the RSP2 to capture weather satellite audio directly via the RSP API. Using a 2MHz sampling frequency and a centre frequency of 137.5MHz, I can cover all 3 of the active NOAA satellite frequencies and decode them correctly down to audio. (I notice that 2 of the satell...

Re: SDRUno going well on Mac, a couple of minor nits
I have basically the same setup (except Parallels V11 and MacOS 10.12.6, I'm running the 32-bit windows in this case for the SDRUno operation) and that seems to be working well for me too. For the frequency setting I just use the keyboard (yes, using a trackpad is virtually impossible) for the major...

Audio volume slowly pulsing with NR on
(New user - searched for a previous topic but nothing found: apologies and pointers if I've missed something) Configuration: - Windows 10 Home Edition, 32-bit - running in Parallels VM on a iMac (Sierra, 10.12.6) all fully patched - RSP2, Input A (connected to QFH) - SDRuno (Rel 1.3) - 4MHz sampling...
