Re: ubuntu 16.04: nothing works!
Hi Franco, ldconfig -p output would be useful. Also a listing of the /usr/local/lib and /usr/local/bin directories. can you also remind me what you see as the output of SoapySDRUtil --probe=sdrplay and SoapySDRUtil --info Does it make a difference if you use... export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib ...

Re: ubuntu 16.04: nothing works!
Hi Franco,
This is very frustrating - I have a standard 16.04 desktop installation and everything is working fine here.
Any chance I can get a remote login (TeamViewer for example) - I would like to understand the differences.
Best regards,

Re: SDRPLAY linux commandline tools?
Sure, Once you have the stream started using mir_sdr_StreamInit you can then make a call to mir_sdr_AgcControl to either enable or disable AGC... mir_sdr_AgcControl(unsigned int enable, int setPoint_dBfs, int knee_dBfs, unsigned int decay_ms, unsigned int hang_ms, int syncUpdate, int lnaEnable) curr...

Re: ubuntu 16.04: nothing works!
Hi AH6Dl,
Something isn't right there. The shared library isn't called that any more in 1.95.3 so something either needs to be recompiled or there is some other problem.
Have you rebuilt SoapySDRPlay with 1.95.3?
Best regards,

Re: Android SU root required
You do not need to root the device. What OS version is it using?
Various Android OS versions treat USB security differently. You should get a prompt asking you to allow connectivity with the device. If not, something is wrong.

Re: SDRSharp plugin update?
Hi, It's not a taboo subject. We have a SDR# plugin, but it's unlikely we'll be updating it any time soon. SDR# only has limited support for the RSP, the plugin works, plus we have so many other software projects. We do a form of decimation in the plugin as it stands today. Best regards, SDRplay Sup...
