Re: Upgrade from 1.2 to 1.22
Is any guidance available on the memory panel grid resize options? - there doesn't appear to be any in the 1.22 manual as far as I can see and having tried dragging the column delimiters around, I wondered whether another method was intended.

Re: SDRplay Win10 cannot load driver
Hi Rob A bit "off-the wall," but in addition to my treasured RSP2. I also operate a reasonably good-quality (honest) RTL receiver to provide me with a v/uhf scanning facility and I have loaded the zadig driver to run the SDR# (and frequency manager/scanner) programmes. This will have to serve until ...

Re: SDRplay Win10 cannot load driver
Hi I don't know whether this may help or not... I have two Dell Laptops, both running windows 10. No trouble whatsoever running from the word go with one machine - 4Mhz of ram - a bit slow on performance. The second machine - 8 Mhz ram and SDD (it's pretty quick) was really difficult to get the RSP ...

Re: tuning knob
No Barry But are you aware of these: https://www.rtl-sdr.com/remapping-a-keyboard-volume-wheel-for-knob-tuning-in-hdsdr/ (at least this would only require the use of one hand to accomplish it's software re-mapping} https://www.rtl-sdr.com/a-homemade-sdr-frequency-controller-made-from-a-pc-mouse/ htt...

Re: active antenna
Hi Avi I'm certainly not setting myself up as any kind of expert, merely passing on my experiences where they may be of assistance to others "just starting out." Please note that i am using the HI-Z port myself with a long-wire antenna and 9:1 balun and not the mini-whip, which is currently on Port ...

Re: active antenna
[quote="lenahh"]A 9:1 balun, or to be exact a unun is useless at the hi-z port. Hi there With due respect to someone with no doubt far more technical kowledge than myself, I have used this antenna (see link): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHF-80-The-Winning-Low-Noise-HF-Longwire-antenna-for-SWL-TX/1924...
Re: Spikes
Thanks for the input Heinrich I didn't think there would be a "silver-bullet" fix, but at my knowledge level, there was always hope. To be honest, it's more a visual nuisance than ACTUAL noise and I had wondered whether it might be possible to notch-out the base frequency if that is what produces th...

Re: active antenna - a little info
Hi Barrie Not going to nag on about this, but I just thought that it might be helpful, if I passed on a couple of things that I found out whilst messing around with these active mini-whips. 1. No good indoors (as the instructions say, if I remember correctly. 2. I would avoid any metal fixings aroun...
Spikes
As our lovely SDRplay RSP's are of course "computerised," is it safe to presume that computer produced "interference" is inevitable, or is this down to the computer used? If it is in fact inevitable, what, if any measures can be taken to ameliorate this? Any suggestions or answers received with than...
