Re: MultiWindow

Oh, reasons why... Well if you have 3 or 4 VRXs then you don't need all 9-12 windows on the screen, you can just turn on/off the windows you need. If you just want to listen to your favourite radio station then you don't have to spectrum viewer taking up real estate (lower CPU requirement as well) I...

Re: MultiWindow

Firstly, let me say, this is not our design. For as many people that say they don't like multiple windows, I have also seen many people say that they like it. We have some ideas on how to improve this going forward. We do appreciate all the feedback we get on SDRuno as we want to make it a tool that...

Re: ubuntu 16.04: nothing works!

Doug,

Could I get remote access to the machine (TeamViewer maybe?) - I'd just like to understand how your system differs.

If so, drop me an email at software@sdrplay.com with the login details and an appropriate time.

Re: ubuntu 16.04: nothing works!

Hi Doug,

I'm confused as to how the mirsdrapi stuff ended up in /usr/lib?

It's not in /usr/local/lib at all?

Do you have a /usr/local directory? Have you tried the export LD_LIBRARYPATH= /usr/lib or /usr/local/lib if you have libraries in there?

Re: ubuntu 16.04: nothing works!

The author of SoapySDR got back to me, can you try the 0.4 build of SoapySDR/SoapySDRPlay just to rule that out...

cd SoapySDR && git checkout soapy-sdr-0.4.4
then build + install SoapySDR and relevant modules

Re: ubuntu 16.04: nothing works!

Hi Franco,

Now I'm confused. Everything there seems to be working, is it not?

Can you explain what problems you are seeing? You said that only 1.95.1 works, but you have 1.95.3 installed and SoapySDRUtil is working?

Re: SDRPLAY linux commandline tools?

Have a look at page 16 of the API specification that I linked above. It gives you an pseudo code example to look through and you can see how all of these functions are called. You should be able to map your mir_sdr_Init call to the new mir_sdr_StreamInit function by looking at that. Best regards, SD...

Re: ubuntu 16.04: nothing works!

I am also concerned that a number of functions that the SoapySDRPlay is using have been deprecated in the latest SoapySDR release (0.5). I will ask the author for a definitive way of building 0.4 to see if that is the problem.
