Re: SDRplay frequency range
In SDR Console you can tune past 2GHz but (I guess) the Mirics driver doesn't let you receive anything other than the last chunk of baseband from below 2GHz up there. While tuning around to check some WLAN channels, my computer rebooted (in other words I got a bluescreen, which is usually due to a d...

Re: Won't load a new file for playback while playing a file
D'oh! <insert random facepalm icon here> (After I was obviously able to find that a few days ago, I spend the following days playing a bit with recording larger swaths of spectrum in HDSDR, where you just click the play button to get a file browser, also it was very early in the morning for me and I...

Re: Acronym Glossaries-Please add until there are no undefined Acrnymd
I feel like adding one of the quite (I looked hard and searched the .PDF) undocumented things unique in SDRuno:
PDBPF = Police Department Beer Purchasing Fund, or maybe (just guessing here) Post-Demodulator/Discriminator Band Pass Filter = audio bandpass only working in NFM (Narrow FM) mode.

Re: Won't load a new file for playback while playing a file
Now I can"t get SDRuno to open files anymore - all that works is right-clicking the recorder panel to select a recording path, and recording into that folder. No file->open dialog, file list or anything. Am I just stupid today or is that really broken?

Re: ADSB News?
Just got back to playing with ADS-B (looking for niches for the RSP1, now that the RSP2 is coming  ) and wanted to report back that all is fine now, ADSBScope works by just changing the client port and (woohoo!) GlobeS runs as well (with modesmixer2 handing over the data from the SDRplay versio...

Re: SDR Uno - first impressions
First off, I've had my share of troubles with the RSP1, but if there's one thing it's just brilliant at and never disappoints, then it's FMDX! So far I was never lucky enough to have some tropo conditions higher than a '1' or a partial '2' on the Hepburn index but still I received plenty of stations...

Re: RSSI
In that case HDSDR's slow waterfall should be helpful. When you come back home, you can stop the radio (hit F2) and just let the mouse cursor hover over the beginning (and end, if any) of the visible traces of the noise to get the times pretty accurately. I'm not sure how a table with absolute level...

Re: The new SDRPlay: RSP2
Your product availability note in the news forum just did it: I just ordered one at the only shop that has the RSP2 in stock here, for whopping 210€. Against my initial plans and general tendency to not be an early adopter, I didn't wait for proper reviews assessing the expected improvements on VHF/...

That would be an "alcoholic beverage" antenna, or beercantenna. Regular beverage antennas come without any drinkable extras, those have to be purchased separately.

Re: move installation - seriously slower
Among the many opportunities to interrupt processing, your USB port may not provide enough speed to take the needed bandwidth. at 8/10 MHz baseband you're getting close to the limits of a healthy USB2 port, sharing with another device may push it over the cliff. I'd also check with LatencyMon http:/...
