Re: RSP2 with SdrSharp
Regarding SDR#, this has been covered before ad nauseam. We would love to support SDR#, but it is not within our gift to do so. All attempts to collaborate with the authors of the software have been rebuffed. Please check through the various threads on the subject. Regarding SDRuno, we will have a n...

Re: RSP2 with SdrSharp
Hello Phoenix,
If you can get hold of release 1361 or earlier, you can use the RSP2 via the ExtIO plugin. After release 1361, it is not possible to use the RSP2 with SDR#

Re: SDRuno and DAB FM Digital Sidebands?
Hello Phil, I am afraid that we still don't have a schedule for incorporating DAB within SDRuno, but I can assure you that it will get done. Unfortunately, I cannot say when as we have a long list of features and improvements to make with SDRuno. In the meantime, you might want to look at SDR-J as i...

Re: Request for clarification of s/w authorship
I should also add that the APIs supplied for the RSP will almost certainly not work with non-RSP devices, even I they do use the Mirics chipset. That is because there are a range of auxiliary control functions in the RSP that will not necessarily be available with other devices. Sincerely SDRplay Te...

Re: Request for clarification of s/w authorship
The original API was developed by Mirics and supplied to SDRplay. SDRplay and Mirics entered into a license agreement that allowed SDRplay to modify and enhance the API. Please note that the API is not open source and still contains Mirics proprietary IP.

Re: SoapySDRPlay compile error on Unbuntu 14
This is for ARM 64 bit machines. You need the x86 version of the API/Driver as you are using an x86 processor, which is available via the Linux x86 tab.

Re: RSP2 Frequency is Incorrect
The RSP2 is fitted with a 0.5ppm TCXO and so it should be pretty accurate. Broadcast stations frequencies are not necessarily particularly accurate though, so I would double check against a known precision station such as WWV using the highest frequency that you can find. FWIW, it is perfectly possi...

Re: Couple of RSP2 Newbie Questions...
Hello Glenn, We do not recommend the use of ports A and B below about 1.5 MHz because there is a high-pass response which will lead to attenuation of the signals below this frequency. The roll-off is steeper on port B than on port A because of the influence of the bias-T circuitry on port B. You car...
