Hi Dos,
No problem at all unless in he middle of a thunderstorm when antennas should be disconnected. Here in the UK I have a G5RV at 20m height and even leave it connected to my SDR console server when on vacation!
Enjoy! 73, Jon

Re: frequency manager and sdrplay
A number of people have kindly tried to post links to where people can download copies of SDR# version 1361. We have had to disallow these posts since SDRplay is not authorised to distribute the software. Jon, SDRplay marketing

Re: SDRplay and SDR# - state of art
Hi Captain Nemo (and others asking similar questions here) We reached out to SDR sharp to see whether we could reach some form of arrangement that would allow users of the RSP to gain access to all of the latest features of SDR sharp. 'Thanks ziptaco for your observations. However we don't think the world is as polarised as you suggest. The Facebook group you refer to is indeed an eclectic mix and that is why we at SDRplay would not try to close them down - indeed, many of them are enthusiastic dongle and Airspy users as well. Th...

Re: Worse reception with SDR console 2274
S-meter readings are tricky with SDRs - since they try to mimic something designed for analogue receivers which measured AGC voltage in a very narrow bandwidth. Hence why there are calibration settings to allow users to get close to something familiar in any particular way of working - this WIKI may...
