Re: SDRuno V1.22/V1.23 an observation

Hello Paul,
We will check this. The notch filters are hardware, so if there is a substantial difference, it has to be because the hardware is not being controlled correctly.

Thanks for flagging this.

Sincerely

Re: RSP-1 and SDRUno 1.23 and newer?

At no point have we ever suggested that we will drop support for older products in newer versions of SDRuno. This is simply not the case. Please remember that the RSPduo was launched at a very specific event (Dayton) and as a consequence the software had to be released on a specific date. that place...

Re: Frequency drifting when using port A

Hello Dougelec, Not only is this not normal, it isn't actually possible for one port to exhibit drift and the other not. Everything uses the same frequency reference inside an RSP and so drift can only come from changes in the frequency reference. It should be stressed that the higher frequency you ...

Yes we do. That's the plan. I'm afraid that I cannot give you a schedule yet though.

Re: RSP1A and software question

Yes, the RSP1A also uses the Mirics chipset. However, the chipset is configured in a slightly different way and the RSP1A has a completely re-designed RF front-end (RF pre-selector, LNA and Gain control).

Re: RSP1A and software question

The recorded spectrum is in I/Q baseband format, but it is of the full spectrum that was displayed when recorded. You will need to replay the files in SDRuno and select the signals that you are interested. You will not be able to replay the signals in something like Windows Media Player. Sincerely S...

Re: RSP1a and BIAS-T

Err, there is a bit of confusion here. The Bias-T is not poly-fused. It has an overcurrent reset on it. Drawing too much current will simply shut the bias-T down. To get it back on you need to cycle the control for it, but it will turn back on instantly.

Re: Clear Recommended Computer requirements (for RSP on a Laptop)

I run the RSPduo using a pretty old Core i3 540 running at 3.07 GHz with 8 Gbytes of RAM. I can run both tuners in SDRuno with a total CPU load of around 30%. A single tuner at 10 MHz bandwidth needs about 35% CPU with SDRuno 1.23. I am also able to run dual tuners in SDRuno, with one tuner decoding...

Re: RSP1A and software question

Hello ggloria,
Yes, you should have no problem in doing this. You can use SDRuno to record selected parts of the spectrum to the HDD of your PC or you can pipe the signal via a virtual audio codec to decoding software such as MultiPSK for real-time decoding.

Re: Sample Rate to 3-4-5- ..... Mhz

Hello,
This is because you have put your device in low IF mode and in Low IF mode, these are the only sample rates available. Open up the Settings Panel (SETT button on the main panel) and select Zero IF mode and you will be able to set up to 10 MHz sample rate again.
