Re: active antenna
Hi Barry/Barrie This is the long-wire antenna that I have feeding into my HI-Z Port: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHF-80-The-Winning-Low-Noise-HF-Longwire-antenna-for-SWL-TX/192468332135?hash=item2cd001ae67:g:NkAAAOSwPgxVTQxD I am well satisfied with it (RX only - I am neither licensed to transmit on ...

Re: active antenna
Hi Barrie I am hesitant to make recommendations based on my shallow experience. However, I have one of these - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MiniWhip-Active-Antenna-Assembled-in-Box-HF-LF-VLF-mini-whip-sdr-RX-portable/222469570201?hash=item33cc383e99:g:YugAAOSwc-tY63MT It works very well (well grounded...

Re: frequency selection glitch in 1.22
Hi Al Fairly new to this as well. If I understood your post correctly, this is how to do what I believe that you want to do. In whatever mode you may be, simply right-click to the left of the tuned frequency shown in the "RX Control Panel" and a drop-down list of frequency steps will appear. Simply ...

Re: general audio output tone control
Hi Roger
Have you experimented with he HP Filter control, located within the "Sett" menu of the RX Control panel?
Use either mouse L/R keys or wheel to increment/decrement - this does have a tonal effect.
I hope this may be of help to you.

Re: RFI
I'll keep this short as I do understand the complexity of these issues. Just for the record, the "noise humps," previously referred, to are actually present from 5 to 12 Mhz and which were absent yesterday afternoon and evening have reappeared this morning, there is no change to my setup and no dome...
Re: RFI
Thank for the responses. Back in the "classroom" - Hand up: The longwire comes indoors directly to a 9:1 balund - there is an abpprox 5M coax feed inside the room - a converted attic, with only the laptop and power sources, which are always in use - no adjacent televisions or other electronic device...
RFI
i do appreciate just how complicated this issue is and just how variable local environmental issues (not forgetting self-created ones), but is there any known issue, whether with the RSP or generally that at least throughout the VLF nad MF bands creates 1 Khz spikes? Not that I'm without other issue...

Re: VFO & LO for dummies
Thank you Tech Support (once more) for an explanation that I am almost in danger of understanding. To show that I have paid attention, I have produced two screeshots: 1. zero IF/SR 2 Mhz/Decimation 8 2. Low IF/SR 8.192/Decimation 4 Which confirm the result that you advised - thank you. https://www.f...
