Re: SDRuno Frustration

May I say somewhat diffidently, as an historic user of various radios (without any technical expertise worth mentioning - if something didn't work, a technician fixed it), that although it's been a fairly steep learning curve for me, with no "technical" background and being only semi-computer-litera...

Re: SdrSharp High Z input?

Hi there I am no longer using SDRSharp for HF using my RSP2 and revision 1360 and am now simply using a RTL SDR for V/UHF scanning, however with that revision at least one could access the RSP radio control panel and in my case being presented with a default antenna selection of Port A in what appea...

Re: RA0SMS Miniwhip bad performance on SDRPlay

I am strictly non-technical, but this is my experience -I also have one of these antennas feeding my RSP2. As this receiver has a choice of three ports, it is attached to Port A. Port B is a H/V/UHF discone and an end-fed longwire (with a 9:1 balun) is attached via the HI-Z Port. In summation, with ...

Re: Windows 10 professional & SDRUno

Thaks for the suggestion Andy
However, in this case this is not the aswer I'm afraid.
To be honest, I still suspect this laptop and will, for the present at least go back to the relaible one, shelving the suspect until I have the patience to have another protracted go.
All the best

Re: Windows 10 professional & SDRUno

Having finally got my RSP up and running on my second Dell laptop (Running Windows 10 pro), all is working well so far with this instal, except for signal corruption in SAM mode. If anyone has a suggestion to remedy this, it would be appreciated - I'm out of my depth here. The original installation ...

Re: Windows 10 professional & SDRUno

Thanks Mike and Heinrich 1. To be honest, having got a bit frustrated with the "pro" machine - it wasn't physically connected when I looked in response to Mike's post. 2. The use of the EXTIO was an attempt to see what would happen if it was accessed - and I was a little surprised at the result, but...

Re: Windows 10 professional & SDRUno

Thanks Mike
You're right!
Why didn't I think of doing that??
Now to find out how to remedy that if possible.
Cheers

Windows 10 professional & SDRUno

Greetings Is there a known issue with Windows 10 professional and SDRUno? I have two Dell laptops, both running Windows 10, one of which happily runs Uno and other programmes that will run an RSP2. However, the second machine, with the Windows 10 professional edition will not run SDRUno. The program...

Re: Which Windows 10 SDR Software(s) Work with the RSP2?

What Andy said works very well for me - arrived at it independently. The only difference is that I mostly start off with 250 K on the Sp1 display, sometimes reducing it a little to suit the area of spectrum that I'm looking at but for ultimate signal resolution, I can't imagine improving on the SP2 ...
