You need to download the beta SDRPlay driver first. Then there are a couple of apps available. The best is probably SDR Touch. The cable is called OTG cable, but you can get one with a plug to provide power, and that might be best. Just make sure it will power the tablet while transmitting data. som...

I'm using the K8IQY magic box. Unfortunately, the kit is discontinued, but you may be able to find one used for sale, or build one from the documentation. It makes any transmitter/receiver combination act like a transceiver.

Frank, I'm using a shielded one-footer that I got on Ebay. I have ferrite cores attached at both ends. Seems to be working fine. My antenna is a tuned balanced dipole.
