Re: Evaluating RF filters?

Ok I got it, WWVB has a fairly strong signal here in Ohio as well, about the same level as the 64 KHZ noise from the SMPS in my PC's power supply. :)

Re: Evaluating RF filters?

I am using a home built 2 pole elliptic LP filter with a response very similar to yours. Think the poles are slightly higher in frequency. I'm using it for NDB chasing. There is some noticeable attenuation starting around 500 KHZ. As to WWVB reception this filter has not impacted it. It could be the...

Re: Evaluating RF filters?

Will your waveform generator do frequency sweeps? If it can then it should work but you may have to some major attenuation of its output. I tried this with my Tektronix FG504 seemed to work pretty good with a fairly flat output from DC to 40MHZ. It tops out at 40.

You can also check the status here:

The connection status should read 'Connected'. If it says "Connecting" then a connection has not been made

Re: Possible issue with dump1090 v1.45

It sounds like the Dump1090 program has either crashed or been terminated. It must be running to feed tracking data to virtual radar server. You should be able to check it's status in task manager.

Decoding Meteor Satellites with RSP Receivers and SDR Sharp via RTL_TCP server

The launch of a new Meteor satellite on July 5th perked my interest in finding a new way to decode Meteor imagery with the SDRPlay line of receivers. I previously had been doing this through ExtIO and old versions of SDRSharp (<1361). RTL_TCP server makes it possible to connect current versions of S...
