Re: Multiple Bands on SDR Play

The BW field in the main window specifies the amount of spectrum (bandwidth) you want to visualise at any one time. The range is 0.25MHz to 10MHz - all VRX frequencies must sit within that bandwidth. I gave an example of that in my earlier post.

Re: Multiple Bands on SDR Play

VRX0 controls the hardware frequency. Set that to the centre of the bandwidth you want to look at and then other VRXs slave from that...

e.g.

VRX0 set to 100MHz with 10MHz bandwidth
VRX1 can be set to 95MHz
VRX2 can be set to 105MHz

Yes, multiple VRXs are only available in SDRuno with the RSP hardware.

Re: Multiple VRX's

In SDRuno, whilst the device isn't playing, press the ADD VRX button to add a virtual receiver and the DEL VRX button will remove one. This will then add a new series of SP1, SP2 and RX buttons that correspond with the new virtual receiver. If the icon next to them is red then it means it's disabled...

Re: SDRUno update 1.02 -> 1.04 thrashed my workspaces setups

There were so many changes between 1.02 and 1.03/1.04 that is wasn't possible to maintain the previous registry settings. We only changed the registry path because we had to otherwise it would have compromised some of the changes that were necessary. If you are familiar with regedit you may be able ...

Re: Frequency display and LO

The LO frequency shows what the RSP is tuned to. The other frequency is the VFO (represented by the red line in the SP1 window) and that can be anything within the specified bandwidth of the LO frequency.

Re: SDRPlay Performance

Hello Bill, The RSP is a USB 2.0 device not USB 3.0 - we find that some USB 3.0 chipset backwards compatibility to USB 2.0 is pretty poor so we always recommend using USB 2.0 ports wherever possible. I'm not sure what SDR application software you are using, but a first step would be to reduce the ba...

Re: Saving Workspace

The only frequency stored is the VRX#0 frequency. We will be addressing this in a future release.

Re: SDRuno 1.03

the old settings are in the 1.01 folder, the new ones in 1.03 - some will be able to be copied across but the ones that clash with new settings won't. If you are familiar with regedit you can export the 1.01 folder, modify the text file, change 1.01 to 1.03 BUT please be prepared for crash if there ...
