Re: NOAA Satellite Reception with the RSP
Thanks Tytan, very interesting. Over all that I'm gathering information about satellite reception during these last days. Also that I'm preparing to install a Diamond D130J as the guy is using in this demo. Proving that my antenna choice is not bad at all. It increase my impatience about mother natu...

Re: New forum member with some questions
Welcome aboard Martin DL8CQ, These two last week I pass my time on mainly two things. 1 - Began to deploy my wiring for installing two antennas. One PA0RDT for freq. below 30mhz and one Diamond D130J discone for freq. over. I plan to install them in my attic but up to now it still a bit too cold to ...

Re: Using SDR# to drive the SDRplay RSP
I give a fast try to the new SDR# plugin. I found very useful the new setup. Using the cursors is a breeze and more easy to see the gain change effect beside the previous spinners. I note that there is a mistake in the installation screen. It tell that version 1.3 will be installed.... suppose to be...

Re: Driver fails to install - Windows 8.1
Hi ToymasterUK, did you get your driver installed? Do you have the same problem with other drivers? ( video card, sound card etc... ) I have dig on the net about the message you get. Many windows users get that message when they tried to install a driver. About what I read, it can be caused by a cor...

Re: SDRPlay - Future Plans
Hi all, I'm agree with Daveb, not only regarding the RSP schematic aspect but also from an RF view point. In the RF spectrum the space, below 30mhz is a completely different world than over. Also regarding the antennas to cover wide range of the spectrum there is no "one size fist all". These...

HDSDR Plug-in
Hi all, just to give a feed back that I have tried the new HDSDR Plug-in V1.2. It's really improved from the previous release. The tuning speed, when you change the LO frequency is a breeze. Thanks for the improvement, over all, view that HDSDR is, by far, my most preferred SDR program. :!:

Re: SDRplay and SWL usage
Hi again all, :) even if I didn't post something these days I was following the forum every days. Lately I was looking for an easy way to use my SDRPlay module in my leaving room. Up to now I had to mount and dismount everything each time I want to listen something. Now I found a trick to use my SDR...

Re: SDRplay and SWL usage
Hi all, not able to post a reply in "Try the RSP remotely- give your feedback here" so I post the reply here ( as my previous message here ). There is no reply button in that topic. About using SDRPlay remotely why not consider doing a websdr site. I think it would be a great opportunity to attract ...

Re: SDRplay and SWL usage
Hi all, I took a look at the remote SDR via SDR Console. It's fun to listen far radio transmissions ( oversea for me ). :D The only thing is that I really don't like SDR Console. :( - The options are too much spreads anywhere. - It's not possible to scroll the waterfall without changing the tuned fr...

Re: 21 MHZ DX pile up - screen shot and WAV file
Hi DaveB, I took a look at the wav file on HDSDR. This modulation look to be some kind of FSK. I've tried to pass it through Fldigi with many protocol but didn't find what it is. It's not simple to tell if it's a single transmission or many, close together. By the way what kind of antenna are you us...
